‘Dangerous abuse of power’: lawmakers sound alarm over Comey indictment Democrats and legal experts say indictment is latest sign Trump is turning justice system into weapon to silence critics

Au contraire Pierre. We now know that Lindsey Halligan has that Tiger-Mom energy in her skivvies and both Fishy-Tishy and Jim Corney are skeered to death of her because of it.

...she ain't no incompetent DEI boob...

...A-N-D she can hit the three point shot, like she did with pulling together the Fishy-Tishy and Corney cases herself, while simultaneously importing more headcount from other divisions... Originally Posted by Why_Yes_I_Do

THIS is what meritocracy really is! Fuck that "she never prosecuted a case" bullshit. This woman can handle a ball! And with alla that hair piled on her head. Amazing!

Question: in the basketball pic, I assume you carefully cropped to remove you in the cheerleader skirt and pompoms, correct?

(there is literally no end to MAGA rationalization of the absurd...almost AF'in funny as promoting Hans Mahncke)

Yet you continue the pattern. The inane "Brown shirts gonna..." idiom comes to mind describing your triggered reaction... can't really help yerself...

("factual content"... yeah... ya sure schooled us all on meritocracy... I suspect her "ball handling skills" were absolutely instrumental in her appointment! Don't get me wrong... I've let worse handle mine!)

Bondi's incompetence is more a factor than Halligan's.

Thinking she could name Halligan a "special attorney" retroactively to cover her pathetic ass was an insult to the court.

They took care of that.

You are getting exactly what you voted for MAGA: Weaponized incompetence.

That you still support. Blindly and without questioning.

(can't wait to hear the crying jags about "appeals"...I'm okay with that!...There is LOTS more incompetence to come out here)

Trump and Bondi fucked this up. They own it.

How many frivolous Trump lawsuits have similarly been dismissed? One or two???

Comey’s case is so flimsy, so full of errors, he’s gonna get his ticket dismissed.

So will the others persecuted and prosecuted for opposing the earless leader. (That would have been a good one had he actually been shot in the ear.) Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

Yea, I know, you’d fuck her.

Maybe ya missed his confessional letter, replete with FOIA typos.
Let me refresh it for ya:

Remember? But did ya miss the Ovaltine decoder ring thing?
Let me refresh it for ya: "Reinhold Niebuhr, aka James Corney == Jim Comey".

I suspect ya forgot to look that one up. Let me refresh it for ya:
See if this sounds familiar:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference...
Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971)
Regardless, the case was punched out on a technicality, without prejudice, which means it is only dismissed temporarily, not based on the "merits" of the case.

As you may know, it was the expiration of the 120 day clause, which the judge ruled; started in January with one Eric Seibert, of EDVA fame, who instead of doing the job he was assigned to do, i.e. bring Reinhold, aka Corney, i.e. Comey, up on charges.

Instead, he decided to write a 51 page love letter to Comey's defense team. Obviously, he got fired, though to hear him tell it, he resigned. In other words, he was basically trying to run out the clock.

At any rate, back to that pesky SoL you've tied your horse too. Imma guessing you are unaware that Federal law does allow that if an indictment is thrown out “for any reason,” the DOJ has a six-month grace period to re-indict, despite the statute of limitations expiring. Remember, it was termed without prejudice.

So if'n I was one Reinhold, Corney, Comey, what-evah; I'ld not be spiking the football just yet. Maybe he should go back in time or review the tape and make some better self-introspection over what he and the OBama on down have been weaponizing the whole of government over the last decade.
...Comey did somewhat of a victory lap after the judge’s ruling. He also lashed out at President Trump and accused him of weaponizing the Justice Department to go after his political enemies.

“A message has to be sent that the president of the United States cannot use the Department of Justice to target his political enemies,” Comey said in a video posted to Instagram.

“I don’t care what your politics are, you have to see that as fundamentally un-American and a threat to the rule of law that keeps all of us free,” James Comey said.

Comey said President Trump will probably go after him again...
On the one hand, seems Comey agrees that people should not use the Department of Justice to target political enemies, but on the other, he still seems to think he and his ilk can get away with it.

Leastwise, he is spot on about that last line.

Seems he may actually be SOL on the SoL. Stay tuned...

Here's all ya need to know: Senior prosecutors at the DOJ said "no fucking way we are doing this." Trump threw a tantrum. He and his shill Bondi installed a big-haired moron with no prosecutorial experience to do their bidding. And a judge finally brought some sanity to this and threw it out. End.

Apparently the law doesn’t apply to “adulting.”

Or possibly you’ve picked the wrong term from the wrong generation to try and explain your contemporary position.

Trump doesn’t follow any conventional rules and is known to flip positions several times mid sentence.

How does one successfully “adult” working for a maniac like that?

Cuz this is just too fuggin cool. You are so desperate in defending these idiots that you actually call these "adult" actions. Make up a new verb even...

Amazing.

Let's break this down:

These so-called "adults"...after they bitched for years about the DOJ being "weaponized" against them...now do some "Adulting" by...weaponizing it blatantly. And illegally. Even after the REAL adults...tell them "Hey! This case is a piece of shit, don't do it!"

Then they do some more "Adulting" by hiring an incompetent shill who is too fucking stupid to say "NO."

And then they fire the real adults!

And you defend this. Endlessly. It will never matter what they do or how badly they do it.
