I tried to hide from this thread. I did not want to be flooded with PMs. Here goes, if you check Deek's post history as some have done (and texted me) you realize I know him ( only from beer drinking) and another NEWBIE who is not a newbie has also broken bread with him.

Short story, Derek is a smart guy with a lot of money but lacks social skills, think of a physics professor. True but the new toilets are built for water conservation which usually take a couple of flushes to get it good and clean. A lot of people aren't aware of this. However if this "turd" was as major as it sounds coupled with the fact that the OP didn't know about how weak the new tiolets are then it's entirely possible that the poor toilet didn't stand a chance in the first place.
