Best Mexican food in DFW

Fuel City on Industrial/Riverside has the best tacos, my fave is the Pastor(haven't tried their breakfast tacos).

The Taco Joint on Peak between Gaston and Live Oak has great breakfast tacos and the Disaster is better than the Bob Armstrong at Matt's

The old Matt's Noplace was an excellent mix of TexMex and cowboy range food. Matt's ElRanchero is not quite what it once was since he past, one of Dallas' greats has left us.

La Calla Doce has the best Mexican seafood, I love the ceviche.

for those who have not been there... it's a huge Fina gas station that has a taco stand with it's own walk-up window on the outside. mexican karaoke in the parking lot on the weekends. chicks in bikinis by the pool. and the place is PACKED most weekend days. and the most delicious tacos i've ever had. and and old mexican woman selling authentic mexican corn beside the taco window.

here is a full article about the place from the dallas observer from a couple years ago:

Agree with Cantinflas... No good seafood in Dallas I will try OceanPrime this wk (I still have hope)

La Margarita in Irving. It's off of Beltline, just south of Rochelle. The chef there was regularly featured on WFAA's weekend show that features Hispanics.

I went to this one the other day. They got some strong margaritas and a happy hour.

Well I'm in kind of a Hurry and can't read all 6 pages but I didn't see mine listed. Don't get me wrong I like most of the places listed here with. They all have things that make them good IMO. However for the best overall Tex-Mex you need to try out El Paseo in Lake Worth. Do not compare it to the same El Paseo in Keller, I've heard the food just isn't as good (I blame it on the chefs).

Anyway my all time Favorite dish is the Polo Ranchero and I cut it up and eat it like a Fajita. Now if don't like it that spicy then you need to order the Fajitas, they are the best I've ever had anywhere. I also like to recommend their Botano Platter which is a sampler plate but damn it just gives you a taste of how good everthing is. Oh and their Margarita's rock as well
