Maybe Kitty isn't real. Think about it. This site has plenty of crazy beeyotches. Being a crazy beeyotch is bad for business. Maybe, just maybe, a handful of the craziest beeyotches got together and created a character named Kitty. Then they carpet bombed the site with crazy Kitty drama. Everybody takes the bait. All of a sudden their crazy asses look downright tame in comparison and their phones start ringing again. Its the best guerilla marketing campaign in the history of eccie.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say its bc the *powers that be* generally enjoy watching a woman get bullied and/or abused - whether its on her "menu" or not.

I do think it is interesting that if one of us guys ask for a thread we originated to be closed, the mods do seem to step in and do it pretty quickly. But if you look back at some other threads that were contentious and the thread originator was a provider, it doesn't seem like they give the same consideration to them and close the thread for comment (when a provider asks for a thread to be closed).

She is also advised on what is expected and what she should do, but somehow always manages to generate her own train wrecks. There wasn't a need for this thread, and this habit of virtually setting herself on fire to then ask for help from staff must come to an end. Everything starts and ends with her, and it isn't much to ask that an adult woman behaves as a responsible adult on the boards. She knows exactly what these threads turn into before she hits the submit button. This is far from being her first rodeo.

Several people have offered positive input and you would hope that she can follow some of that advice.

Yes, I guess the entertainment value is indeed what is keeping this one alive. So I guess Samantha, et al are probably on target with that. I just wondered, when it might get deep sixed and if there was a different priority placed on requests for closure.
