This is a way to do it that isn't socialist, because no one is being forced to pay anything. They only pay the tax when they voluntarily buy something. No one is saying "Hey, you're rich! You need to pay more."

How is it not fair to the middle class? They keep more money, price level remains static, they do MUCH BETTER under the FairTax than the current system.
