f more NRA members and gun owners (which I also am) would speak up as you did and push for sane enforcement--including funding for such--that is the beast way I can think of to correct how they are being represented. Originally Posted by Old-T

Another brilliant conversation.

If this conversation had more guns, the dipshits would be safer?

Twitler continues to lie and promise shit everybody knows he can't deliver.

And you guys keep arguing over what kind of guns should be allowed in schools.

Get the fuck out of here!

Always ignoring the topic and belittling anyone you feel is beneath you. Did some camera man film you in a compromising position once? Did you flunk out of tech school so you are jealous of their ability? Or is it that you hate anyone in DC because you couldn't pout and get your way there?

But I guess you are pretty good at finding typos. Good to know you have some skill there.

"sane enforcement" and "funding-for-such" .... ?

1. Beef up the perimeters of the school grounds
2. Install metal detectors at doors with clear bags/backpacks.
3. Fire anyone who lets anyone come onto the school property without being identified and searched (electronically/physically)
4. Have no less than three officers at all times when staff and students are on the campus grounds ... with extensive training on "covering" the building and responding to threats on the property with equipment/tools to respond to various levels of threat.
5. zero weapon policy. You bring it you're gone.
6. Plenty of warning signage ... with symbols.

If that sounds like government buildings or airports ... duh!

If you really want to know where we are at in this country with regard to this firearm and school safety "stuff" ...

.. go back to 1996 and look at Al Gore's report to Bill Clinton on "air line safety"!

In those days there was a discussion about "hardening" cockpit doors etc. and securing the cockpit area prior to gate departure until return to the next gate.

The recommendations were NOT IMPLEMENTED as a mandate, because it was too expensive!

How expensive was 911?

How expenses IS IT with this students who survived, the families of the victims, and the surrounding investigations etc. etc. ... with all this hand wringing.

Debating about what is an AR-15 ... is entertaining ... debating about banning them is about as entertaining ... if they ban and pick up every one of them this year .... next year it will be a "BS-21" ... or a Presto Pressure Cooker!
