I dont think we need this bs here - its offensive
Wait... Where did I get on here and pontificate about being so tolerant and open minded... So how can I be hypocritical about that? LOL

If you just wanna take the world for what it is, the flaws, and don't try to change anything, then that's fine, but when you impose that belief on someone else, Like crying wolf or pointing the finger to whatever extreme now you are trying to change them. Different beliefs for different people. If you preach "who cares", then be consistent and 'don't care about this thread'
The part about not seeing men of darker skin tone is neutral in the text...anything past that as far as mentality or the individual themselves behind the computer screen is guessable...but for "safety reasons" is a little more guessable, could be because she has a darker-skin toned pimp, could be a documented phobia, but if more in the other direction, then that classifies discrimination.
Flinde, if you think the First Amendment is "nonsense", I already mentioned several countries you might prefer to live in. Perhaps you also need to read the next sentence.
Rambro, if you can't tell the difference between a girl selling lemonade, and a woman submitting herself to the most intimate physical and emotional act possible, with its attendant risks, then you will never understand the situational "acceptance" that you are railing against.
As far as I can tell, nobody here is "praising" racist actions or words. What is being "condoned" is a provider's right to have intimate relations with (or not) anybody she sees fit, for whatever reasons she sees fit, and her decision to let people know in advance about that, saving herself, and potential clients, a lot of grief.
I understand "conviction", but if you hold onto that anger 24x7, you will find it difficult to enjoy Life. And while it is true I may not "relate", I have seen and known plenty of AA men (and other minorities) who manage to enjoy Life, without the chip on their shoulder.

dea...Please don't misquote what I said. We all know people make changes everyday...and, I did state that we could effect change.
What I was trying to convey is...we could all sit around until we grow roots discussing *racism.* Do you really think it's effective to push my belief system on someone who isn't open-minded?
Huge difference between a person's ability to *change* their mindset...and whether or not it's my duty to push my agenda on someone else. If we want to effect change toward racism...then, it's going to take a whole lot more than sitting around the ECCIE campfire, arguing about who's right or wrong. That's my point.
And, there have been many threads where hobbyists have openly stated that they wish all providers who are NBA to POST that info in their ads...does anyone remember that?
If I were an AA hobbyist...I would be thankful that I knew who the providers were that didn't want to see me. Why would I want to waste my time and hard-earned hobby budget on someone who DOESN'T want to see me...when there are soooo many others who would appreciate me?
And the saga continues.
I get the impression that a couple of you are pissed that slavery ended.
I won't call any names, but he does make me want a BEER right now.
Rambro, you do realize that *slavery* hasn't ended for some people in the world, don't you? It's called human trafficking.
Likinikki ==> as you know "misquoting" others can be a popular past time on these forums!!
Here on eccie we have a difficult time even answering the basic simple question, i.e., "What is Race?" When some people use the “race” they attach a biological meaning, still others use “race” as a socially constructed concept. It is clear that even though race does not have a biological meaning, it does have a social meaning which has been legally constructed.
The world population can be divided into 4 major races, namely white/Caucasian, Mongoloid/Asian, Negroid/Black, and Australoid. This is based on a racial classification made by Carleton S. Coon in 1962. There is no universally accepted classification for “race”, however, and its use has been under fire over the last few decades. The United Nations, in a 1950 statement, opted to “drop the term ‘race’ altogether and speak of “ethnic groups”. In this case, there are more than 5,000 ethnic groups in the world, according to a 1998 study published in the Scientific American.
. . . Unfortunately, few of you here on the forums and in our society seem prepared to fully relinquish your subscription to notions of biological race.. . .[including the] Congress and the Supreme Court. I find reading Supreme Court briefs enjoyable and enlightening. The Congress’ anachronistic understanding of race is exemplified by a 1988 statute that explains that “the term ‘racial group’ means a set of individuals whose identity as such is distinctive in terms of physical characteristics or biological descent.” The Supreme Court, although purporting to sever race from biology, also seems incapable of doing so. In Saint Francis College v. Al-Khazraji, the Court determined that an Arab could recover damages for racial discrimination under 42 U.S.C. § 1981. . . Despite a seeming rejection of biological race, Justice White [stated]: “The Court of Appeals was thus quite right in holding that § 1981, ‘at a minimum,’ reaches discrimination against an individual ‘because he or she is genetically part of an ethnically and physiognomically distinctive subgrouping of homo sapiens.”‘. . . By adopting the lower court’s language of genetics and distinctive subgroupings, Justice White demonstrates the Court’s continued reliance on blood as a metonym for race. . . .In Metrobroadcasting v. FCC, Justice Scalia (MY HERO IN OH SO MANY WAYS!!!) again reveals the Court’s understanding of race as a matter of blood. During oral argument, Scalia attacked the argument that granting minorities broadcasting licenses would enhance diversity by blasting “the policy as a matter of ‘blood,’ at one point charging that the policy reduced to a question of ‘blood . . . blood, not background and environment.”‘
And as far as something I call Social Construction ==> I have found that on the old aspd, here at eccie and on other similar forums ====> . . . I can define a “race” as a vast group of people loosely bound together by historically contingent, socially significant elements of their morphology and/or ancestry. I argue that race must be understood as a sui generis social phenomenon in which contested systems of meaning serve as the connections between physical features, races, and personal characteristics. In other words, social meanings connect our faces to our souls. Race is neither an essence nor an illusion, but rather an ongoing, contradictory, self-reinforcing process subject to the macro forces of social and political struggle and the micro effects of daily decisions. . . Referents of terms like Black, White, Asian, and Latino are social groups, not genetically distinct branches of humankind.
Do with my thoughts what you will, but those of you who know me and of my background know I am a man of conviction and recognize we all have flaws in our lives. If you wish to initiate change in society - you really need to discover the proper platform to begin your process.
An Escort Client Community Information Exchange (ECCIE) is most certainly not the place in my humble opinion.
If she had 'security issues' with black men, then she wouldn't interact with them in ANY capacity. Bus driver, car mechanic, cashier, dj, etc. Any black male ON EARTH would be a security issue to her, not just a hobbyist.
For the life of me, I can't fathom why y'all keep defending this nonsense.
And who would be a greater security risk, a 155lb, skinny twerp black dude OR 360lb pyscho looking, roided up white dude? Does skin color automatically make one guy safer than the other? Rhetorical. HELL NAW!
Hell, I'd think that a 170lb white dude tatted up from his neck to his ankles poses a greater 'security risk', based on appearance, especially compared to a Tiger Woods looking 'brotha', for example. Who's a greater 'security risk', a black guy that grew up in Beverly Hills, or an Asian who grew up in Compton and has even done some time?
Wasn't Ted Bundy kind of charming with the ladies? Security risk? No? Of course not.
We can do this all day. Ya know, the REAL psychos out there, they count on your guard being down, especially when your beliefs are based on some silly stereotypes and other similar nonsense. Handsome, blue-eyed blond men, yeah.....back in the Mideval times they were known as VIKINGS! Plunderers, pillagers, and RAPISTS.
Just saying. Don't judge a book by its cover.
.....don't open the book then
the shelves are filled with many others.....

What I'm saying is that he has that freedom to do as he pleases, whether anyone think it the best tactic to go about things or not, either on eccie or wherever anyone pleases. And yes, it takes the choice of the individual to change, what I'm conveying is that choices can be manipulated.
Honestly there is only one race; the human race.
Does anybody else feel like we are going around in circles?
Rambro,
Are you really so clueless that you can't see the difference between the bus driver, mechanic, cashier, DJ, ect.? Let me try and put it into simple terms that you should be able to comprehend. Dealing with the bus driver and others don't require you to be locked in a room naked with no one else around. Certainly you can see that this would put somebody in a much more vulnerable position.
He's probably just talking about a human being in general being mentally/physically capable of committing a crime, and then in what environment/circumstance that human being might be triggered to commit a crime...the only person that was perfect was Jesus, so pretty much everyone lol.
