Hedonist. I have said many times that the actions of all rioters are wrong. I have also never accused any "party" as being responsible. Those who participated in any of the riots are guilty of their own accord and should be held accountable.

Where we part ways is in the gravity of "disrupting of the proceedings" on Jan 6th. Whether the disruption was temporary or doomed to failure is irrelevant to the fact that those participants went far beyond trespassing, looting, etc., by their intent to forego legitimate constitutional process. How does one defend their actions, regardless of "party"? Hence the term "Village Idiots". On the other hand, many Democrats including the future VP of the United States, did defend the summer rioters but more than that, put up her own money to put them right back on the street to do it again. That is a "gravity" I do find more egregious. We'll just have to differ on which one was worse. They were both indefensible and only one was defended by you know who.
