Eggs

Who is responsible for egg pricing up to January 20th. If it took Four years for liberal inflation for the high cost of items to get to this point, some expect it all to go away overnight, really.

Forget the fact that Biden culled 100-150 million chickens.

I think if Trump does nothing the problem will fix itself in a couple of months. And I’m good with that. Bigger eggs to fry.

Also, you can also find egg subsitutes, my wife made a blueberry buckle today, and she substituted applesauce for the eggs, you need to be resourceful in hard times.

I know your first response is to bitch, but there are ways to find workarounds in tough times, pull together and we'll all be ok.

Well said, Devo.

According to the guy who owns the place I get dairy, the government solution (kill all the potentially exposed chickens) is exactly the wrong thing to do. The ones who die, die. The ones who don’t are genetically stronger and breed immunity. I’ll take a 60 year veteran dairy farmer’s word 100% of the time over any politician’s.

Actually, J. Some flocks are quarantined and were quarantined under Biden.

Biden admin ensured there was $306m allocated for bird flu response to help out the incoming Trump admin.

The Biden strategy including quarantine AND culling. Not just culling. The numbers the Trump admin cited as chickens killed by Biden included quarantined birds that died naturally and from the virus, in addition to targeted culling.

I get that your wife ate eggs last weekend and you know a farmer, but you're not in command of the facts, my dude.

GM, same applies for you. Follow those breadcrumbs a little further and go down the rabbit hole. You'll find plenty of coverage about it.

Never claimed to be in command of the facts. I conveyed the knowledge of someone who has forgotten more about chickens than the two of us combined will ever know.

Making some assumptions on that one. Thanks for sharing

Where are all the MAGAs defending the trash trumpster?

First the eggs, now the boisterous MAGAs!

Or maybe they've wised up and realized that they voted in a king who doesn't even know who they are? Hmmm

Unintended consequences. More and more eggs being smuggled across the southern border

Could also be applicable to the drug smuggling across the border, too. They really seem to don't care when it is their fault lol
