A few pages back I posted a response to Mr. Bill's initial post. Since then, there have been PAGES of his misinformed rants that have appeared. I can only suggest that Mr. Bill, along with any other folks who don't believe that HIV causes AIDS, look at where the vast majority of the scientific community stands on the issue. While it may be of some interest to look at the journal articles that have been provided in links, I doubt that many of us understand the details of this research. I should also point out that Mr. Bill has posted quotes by Dr. Fauci regarding T cell populations in such a way that they may interpreted that Dr. Fauci is unsure as to whether HIV causes AIDS. Nothing could be further from the truth. Oh well, if I had nothing better to do, I would dig up a few links that disporove that. However, I think in the case of Mr. Bill, and others like him, that would be as productive as talking to wall.

The so-called scientific community you speak of dare not challenge the HIV/AIDS theory or their research funding gravy train will come to an abrupt halt.

The journals you mentioned are sponsored and in some cases owned by the pharmaceutical companies which profit from selling the AIDS drugs, not to mention Robert Gallo receives million$ in royalties for patenting HIV anti-body tests.

Doctors are scared shitless that they'll be sued for killing people with their poisonous treatments and thanks to the Internet the cat is out of the bag. Millions more every month are beginning to realize that HIV is a horrible hoax perpetrated by criminals.

There are thousands of scientists, doctors and virologists worldwide who have risked their careers and their lives to expose the HIV=AIDS fraud. Unfortunately, these unsung heroes are marginalized and refused publication in the various journals and they don't have multi-billion dollar budgets to compete with Big Pharma's propaganda machine.

You Charlie, are on the wrong side ...please open your mind and take a closer look. I'm not crazy and there are too many holes in this whole HIV/AIDS thing to ignore.

Too many people have died and continue to be killed on a daily basis ...and the main reason is because most people believe they can trust the government agencies, the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA to protect them. All of these entities show every day that they can't be trusted.

Are there really only a few scientists who say HIV doesn't causes AIDS?

I'm sorry that I just stumbled onto this thread because it disturbs me greatly to see, in person, how the conspiratorial circles can totally convince some people into accepting their views. I fear Mr. Bill believes in the grassy knoll gunman and that Bush was the true 9/11 mastermind. I wish I could have taken him with me a couple years ago during my participation in a sub Saharan medical mission. A single day (hell, an hour) in one of those clinics would have been more than enough to alter his belief that there is no link between HIV and AIDS. It is also very disappointing to put in years of hard dedicated effort and work toward my profession, yet still have people believe that my sole driving force is to make sure I do the bidding of the pharmaceutical companies (who, by the way, have never offerred me even one penny to use their products. . . But Mr. Bill will automatically presume that I am just blatantly lying when I make that statement.) Fellow board members, I think we'll just have to accept the fact that no amount of discussion with Mr. Bill has any chance of changing his views and be comfortable in the knowledge that the VAST majority of people who come in contact with persons of his ilk have the common sense to discount or ignore his rantings.

Oh, and maybe I missed it because of the sheer volume of this thread - but I share SinsoftheFlesh's question about just what "BBCR" stands for? I really didn't understand that response to her comment about the Texans' requests for BBFS.

The difference between myself and your brothers in crime is I've taken the time to review ALL THE DATA from both sides of the HIV/AIDS controversy ...and the evidence is heavily weighted against HIV being the cause of AIDS.

Did you know that anyone with African heritage can test positive for HIV anti-bodies?

Are you aware that indigenous Africans are classified as having AIDS simply because they're starving?

Did you know that the historical, naturally occurring diseases that have affected Africans for millennia are today re-classified as AIDS?

And did you know that symptoms and illnesses that have always been associated with the mining industry are now conveniently called AIDS to escape the liabilities which would bankrupt the mining cartels?

Are you even aware of what the antiretroviral AIDS drugs are, where they came from, or what they do to the human body, especially to a person whose immune system has already been compromised by starvation or disease?

Hopefully, this will be my last entry in this thread as it is getting quite tedious. I also believe that our ECCIE members are intelligent enough to see the folly and dangers of Mr. Bill's belief. I was involved in the surgical repairs on women who had suffered deforming and disabling physical problems related to childbirth (such as rectal/vaginal fistulae). The trip was not organized with an "AIDS agenda" but the overwhelming presence of the disease was unavoidable and prompted me to learn a bit more about the whole process. Strange that the country whose offical policy in regards to HIV/AIDS was to deny any link is also the country with the most severe AIDS problem. Good luck, Mr. Bill, in your future causes. You've got at least one believer - yourself.
