what if they left the threads as is and Alb - HV can start anew, think that make a difference in spliting them ??

The Admin will have to make the call about dividing old threads.

Move nothing over would be easy. Just reviews of 2012 or few months would add a bit of work.

I overlooked this thread a month or so ago so I am going to bump it now in hopes this actually happens! We really need to separate upstate.

The owners of this site dont seem the least bit interested. VERY frustrating. They are probably not convinced they can ad revenue by bringing in more Albany, HV area providers. Build it, and they will come.

I don't think it is they are not interested. I just don't think they realize how much interest there actually is for this to happen. In the grand scheme of things, upstate NY seems to be forgotten about compared to Texas. I also think it would require a lot of work on their part unless a new section is just formed from scratch like iggy suggested. I like iggy's idea and I think most people are in agreement on it.

It has not been forgotten and I asked about it again today!

I dont not think anyone in the Albany HV area would object to being set up as a new area and start from scratch. Both WNY and The HV Albany areas will benefit from it !!
