Wakeup, Black people gunning each other down has zero to do with a 17 kid being murdered by a vigilante. He was a 17 year old boy. You might think it does not matter for some other reason or just not care. I have a 17 year old white son, that might have been gunned down by the same type of cop wannabe if he was black. Fox news and other right wing nuts made this a black vs. white issue. It is not , it is about some fat ass that could not make it a cop wanting to keep blacks out of his neighborhood. He got his ass kicked by a teenager and then could not defend himself and shot Trayvon. He had plently of orders by 911 dispatchers to leave the kid alone and stop following him. He disregarded all of that and want to be a badass. If Trayvon was white, he would probably still be alive. Unfortunately many people , act like his life did not matter because he was just some black kid in a hoodie.

I didn't watch a single show in it or read a single article on it...I knew when it was over because of this thread...and I loved the verdict because of all the fun it was going to give me watching these idiots lose their damn minds...

Look, if you think right always prevails in the justice system , you are really uninformed. It is a final verdict, but it is about who has the best attorney or money. Millions of guilty people have gotten off in this country and millions of innocent people have been locked up.

The jury let Zimmerman go, sometimes juries are wrong. Look at the guy in galveston,that cut up his roomate and put him in the refrigerator , he was freed. This is really pointless. Well said Greenflag. OJ Simpson was found not guilty but that did not make what happened "right". Juries are not asked to distinguish between "right and wrong", only to determine if the prosecution demonstrated/proved guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
