This year there does not seem to be an obvious #1 guy at RB or WR. If you don't think your giving anything away, who would you take 1st at those positions?

SB, that's a very good question man. I have to say my philosophy is not to draft a RB OR WR with my first pick. (Barring abnormal circumstances) I've always finished in the top, no worst than 3rd so I feel pretty good about how I draft.

My boy Mix has been doing mock drafts almost daily for the last past month. It's way to early for me to do that, but maybe he can chime in. Hell, he won it all last year.

Oh the other hand, you can do what Ike did and not draft at all, but choose the losers "auto-draft" option and let the computer do it. That fool came in 2nd place.

Hey SB....the 1# pick depends on how you want to build your team. In this league, all the players are smart,&well informed on information,so when i won last year,i studied hard, did research, listen to the so called "experts"then made my own decisions. I also got a little bit lucky on trades&was injury free, until the championship game,in which i had to use alex smith of the kansas city chiefs to win. I have already been working&studying mock draft trends for the past month ,as Satin said earlier& i see a runningback resurgence coming, but to me ,its still a passing league. So if it were me,i'd say andrew luck or aaron rogers as the 1# pick, but then again peterson or lacy could enter the discussion for 1# as well. I certainly would not have even entered the league if not for satin's support. The wavier wire advice i got from daddio in 2013,my 1st year playing, was invaluable.(thanks daddio) so it depends on how you want to build your team SB.on another note, I nominate don as commisioner&hope to see one of you guys in the championship round....

lol.....ike!! Can u imagine if you had accepted the trade beckham/ingram&(cant remember who else i offered, for antonio brown? That may have changed the whole season for us!!! (hahaha...yeah,your right ike...i got lucky on a couple of trades✌...(Go Cowboys!!)

I know he's suspended for the first couple of games but I might pick Bell as my 1st RB.
Mixshowdj's Avatar
Those suspended games dont matter SB,everyone in your league is going to lose 4-5 games. You can count on it. I went 10-4 last year to win my league,&was lucky to do that,as ike said. Ike finished 9-5,& I was lucky and grateful to beat him.everyone is going to lose games, you can count on it.remember,it's a long season,& its how you finish, not how you start! I learned from SATIN to never quit, his 2nd year playing he started of 2-5-1....&ended up winning 6 straight&gettin to the championship round!!! So i took what he did to heart&always played to the end, because you never know how its all gonna pan out. If you like bell....take him.Dont wait to get the player you want.Take him.....

It would be hard for me to take a player suspended from the start of the season. Of course it depends on how many games he's suspended and if you have adequate backups you've drafted to hold you over until he's back.

He wouldn't be my first pick but you never know this is gonna work out. I'm gonna play more of the weekly fantasy football this year and drop from 3 fantasy leagues to 2. I started playing (the weekly) leagues towards the end of the year the last few games and did quite well.

I haven't been very active on trades and waiver wire activity my first few years but will do more this year. I normally just ride it out with whomever I start with. As Mix said, I went on a 6 game winning streak to close out the season and went to the championship.

Denver converting to a "run-first" offense instead of letting Peyton continuing throwing the ball fucked me out of the championship. I would have destroyed all you boys if that shit would not have happened. Dammit CJ Anderson!
