When it comes to tariffs those Canadians are tough. They can take Trumps tariffs and more. Elbows up!

Here’s a nice conversation starter and not an all inclusive list. Doesn’t look like Canada is being wronged to me.

Canada Tariffs on US Goods
• Steel/aluminum: 25%
• Autos/parts: 25% (non-CUSMA)
• Other: 25% on select non-CUSMA goods (tools, computers, etc.); most consumer surtaxes lifted Sept 1, 2025

US Tariffs on Canadian Goods
• Most goods: 35% (non-CUSMA)
• Steel/aluminum: 50%
• Energy/potash: 10%
• Autos/parts: 25% (non-CUSMA)
• Softwood lumber: 35%+ (existing duties)

A deal in principle with China. Details still to be worked out and signatures still to come. We've seen surprises before pen haa been put to paper to many times to take it at face value... and we'll need for see what the ultimate tariff rate become and on what.

Some red meat for the base with promised AG purchases. God knows he needed to cut a deal on that.
