Hagglers - what is it they really want?

I think WU is going to start slinging BJ's pretty soon.... And they ain't gonna be cheap.

I'm just here to answer the question about why I haggle...

I only see ladies that are current or past members of this site, so all the info I gather on a provider comes directly from here. I have a few ATF's that I stay loyal to, but will step out of my circle every once in a while to see someone new. When I do, I ALWAYS check their reviews for positive feedback and to see what the real rate is. The showcase may say 300 and if the reviews match, then I'll ask just to confirm and will always accept the regular rate. On the other hand, if the reviewers are posting 200-250, then I'm going to refer to those reviews and respectfully request the lower rate. Therefore, I only negotiate with ladies that don't have a consistent rate with the Johns.

The outcome is they usually deny or counter my offer. At that point, I either move on, or accept the counter and sometimes even the regular rate. Once I've made the request, the discussion is over in 2 responses or less. Keep it short, simple, and respectful. If they accept a lower rate for me, then I always tip if I felt the service warranted... On top of making sure I make return visits.
Getting back to what hagglers (negotiators when they are polite) want, seems we have learned that there are 6 different types who may parry price:

1. Gents on a budget looking for deals.
2. Guys who are just plain cheap for the halibut.
3. Fellows from cultures where it is socially expected.
4. Regulars who expect/earn discounts.
5. Manipulators who haggle for fun, aka "control freaks."
6. Guys who think they are such a privilege to f*** that providers should give them a discount, aka the "crazy ones."

Any other clear distinctions?

I personally don't think haggling is cool, ijs = )
I don't mind the hagglers at all, mostly because I don't actually have to deal with them. My assistant sends them a polite response letting them know that I don't negotiate my rate, and they either decide to move on, or they pay my rate. I only ever discount my rate for my very, very favorite clients who are reliable and delightful enough for me to be happy to offer them a discount over my full rate with an unknown. I do it a bit differently than other ladies, though, because no one gets this discount all the time. I have it set up in more of a "come over, I'm feeling frisky" kind of way. Keeps my favorites happy and on their toes.

All that being said, I'd never let pride get in the way of my well being or my bottom line. If I needed $200, and someone offered me $200, you'd best believe I'd take it in a heartbeat and count my lucky stars. The need just hasn't arisen yet.

He didn't imply he was an expert but merely gave an opinion on many factors. Reading is your best friend
and men have mentioned about a
providers proven track record in correlation to the fees that justifies
the service.
Sjc, how many women have you seen
at $400 hr? None. Read your reviews
and you don't have room to talk.
You may think multiples hours is
getting your moneys worth, but
you still divide the total amount
by the hour & it is far less than
$400.

You didn't write $400

used for a broke ass trick
that can't afford the
$400 Hr HDH. Hint- thread was about a touring girl charging $400. Heeheee
If it don't apply why bother,
guilty conscious for some.
SMH.
If White knight is the best excuse
some can muster then this debate
is too much for you to handle.
Roflmao.
Cheap trick no undetstand math.
You did comment 3 times &
the counting was correct this
time. Good start ,yay.

As I have thought about this, I think every one has forgotten the impact that strip clubs play on initially "training" both providers and clients. It is a major initial gateway to P4P on both sides. That is absolutely a haggling game and the guys get trained early on to look for financial weakness from the providers around rent time. I'm sure most of them think "What's the difference between an independent escort and a stripper who is a player, its all P4P?"

Ladies, I really do not understand why a provider would get offended by our asking if they offer any specials, but some do get offended, and some very easily.

I was ready to book an appointment with a well known provider that I had admired from a far for a long time, finally got pre-screened, and as soon as I asked if she offered any specials, she got a case of GPS, said she didn't negotiate her rates and that she was offended that I asked. Really ? Offended ? By what exactly ?

All she had to say is no, she did not offer any specials, and ask do I still want to book with her. It kind of kills the mood if she gets all worked up and tell me how offended she is.

We are not necessarily saying that you are not worth what you are asking, we are just wanting a value for our investment of time and money, just as you are.

To all of the pretty and truly wonderful ladies, I would love to meet with you, but please don't take us so seriously. We just want a bit of GFE, and at a good value.
