Are You Ready For Some Football ?

Sanchez is not worthless ... he has salary cap implications.
Ha! he did, for the 6 minutes he was on the field.. Sanchez is a waste, IMO.. we needed him until 7 weeks ago, or whenever Romo was able to return.. but cut him already.. he is worthless. Originally Posted by Chung Tran

Giants look'd good eliminating the Skins in the afternoon game today. New Yawk had nothing on the line today (and EVERYTHING was there for Wash) and yet they showed up and punished them. Keep an eye on 'em...they might be a tuff out.

If we play the Giants WE ARE GOING TO GET A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO SEE WHAT OUR OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IS MADE OF....stay tuned.
I agree that Sanchez is worthless and ridiculously inept ..... I'm starting to become concerned about the Cowboys inability to find even a barely competent backup QB ..... Romo is either traded or he retires ..... Kellen Moore or Jameill Showers? oh please no ..... is it best to draft another young QB for the backup role ..... surely they won't seriously consider signing Sanchez for another year.....

If Romo is smart he will NOT retire. All he needs is to play the first game of next season and he is due his entire salary. Good luck trying to trade Romo. Cannot thinck of anyone that desperate to mortgage their future on Romo. The cowbitches will be looking for high draft picks.
8 teams begin post-season play this weekend while 4 others will kick back, rest their injured players and enjoy their well deserved Bye Week.

Of the 12 teams to engage in this year's post-season, 5 will field QB's that have Super Bowl experience (and success). Four of those QB's will be in action for Wildcard Weekend (Russell Wilson, Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning and Aaron Rodgers). Only Tom Brady and his Pats earned a Bye.

POINT SPREAD (current per this writing...could change drastically after Tiggold loads up & places his final bets):

Oak +3.5 @ Hou

Miami +10 @ Pitt

Det +8 @ Sea

NYG +4.5 @ GB

CURRENT SUPER BOWL ODDS (to win):

New England 8 to 5
Dallas 15 to 4
Pittsburgh 9 to 1
Atlanta 19 to 2
Green Bay 19 to 2
Kansas City 10 to 1
Seattle 14 to 1
New Yawk 18 to 1
Detroit, Houston, Miami all three at 90 to 1

And...if you're really feeling it....Oakland at 115 to 1
Hey....a hundred dollar bet gets ya $11,500....never know, right.

In closing, giving the Dolphins 10 points before the ball has been put in play is awful tempting (even though they're starting backup qb, Matt Moore). Big Ben has turned the ball over quite abit the second half of the season and The Fish just might turn some of those into easy scores....ijs keep an eye on this one. If you make a play (and win) my advisor's fee is only 10%.

No matter the spread, the NY @ GB game oughta be fun...and really cold (high of 21...low of 12). The winner of this one should be the Cowboys next opponent....just can't see the 6th seeded Lions coming out of Seattle with W.

Personally I don't care who it is....its playoff time and there are no more Browns, Jags or Rams on anyone's schedule remaining. It's time to put the Big Boy britches on and play some f*ckin' football! SSingle elimination...winner take all. Let's Go Cowboys!
CB, I wonder what the cowboys odds were in the beginning of the season to win the DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP, SUPER BOWL. You will need a calculator. lol I just wish i would have bet then. Those odds you posted will get smaller as we get to game day and after they win each game. The cowboys have already done MORE than anyone ever expected them to do. It's time those cowboy haters start to realize that THIS IS THE COWBOYS YEAR.

My must watch game of the weekend is Packers vs. Giants at Lambou. That is my kind of football - games played outdoors in an open air stadium on a GRASS field in the elements. Especially this time of year. One of the things I resent most about Jerry Jones is he permanetly ruined that for me when he built that THING in Arlington. I know Texas stadium was a dome with a hole in the roof but Jerry had a chance to do it right when he built a new stadium and he didn't. I am just a down to earth guy and like dirt and grass. I was fortunate to grow up before there were PC's and Iphones. Millennials won't get what I am saying. Sad!

As of End of the Preseason 2016 exhibition games; all teams remaining for post-season play (fyi: per the date of these odds, Romo's injured and it's pretty darned official...Dak will be the starting QB until Tony Romo is healthy & ready to assume those duties again...)

1st) Patriots 15 to 2
tied for 2nd) Seahawks 17 to 2
tied for 5th) Packers / Steelers 10 to 1
tied for 9th) Chiefs 20 to 1
tied for 12th) COWBOYS 30 to 1
tied for 14th) Giants / Texans 35 to 1
tied for 16th) Raiders 40 to 1
tied for 18th) Falcons 50 to 1
tied for 22nd) Lions 60 to 1
tied for 28th) Dolphins 70 to 1

Aside from the sweet odds on Dalla$ at the time...one must admit, had an insightful bettor plopped down the amount equivalent to one's atf's "donation" (on the 50 to 1 Atlanta Falcons), that wager would look somewhat favorable today considering their success to date and current seeding.

However...if you're a student of the game, you oughta know that it's LAMBEAU Field. Curly Lambeau, founder of the Packers, player, long-time coach and HOFer might take exception that his name be confused with a burb in Senegal.

For major schools like them the cost is a drop in the bucket. Furthermore, close to 100% of players prefer to play on natural grass.

I have a bad feeling about the Cowboys-Packers next weekend.. I don't see the Cowboys pulling out a win.. GB scored 38 against the Giants, which translates to 55 against us.
