To the contrary, I don't watch much TV, and I don't get the chance to catch all the movies I'm interested in.
I learn something new everyday on a hooker board. Tell me more about this ethics you speak of?

Anyway, getting back to the question of ethics....
Let's say, you are a professor...and you happen to get into a sexual relationship with a student who's taking one of your courses. Do you think it's possible to grade the student's work/exams objectively in an unbiased manner, in fairness to all the students taking the course? Well, it's not. This is a very clear conflict of interest where your personal (intimate) relationship could overshadow your professional judgment.
The things is...this could go in many directions. If the relationship is "going well", you might be inclined to favor the particular student. And if it has gone sour, well we could only imagine what could happen, depending on who has been hurt the most. Pretty much every possible path it could take would have a very bad outcome.
So, the bottom line is....these types of relationships in academia are highly unethical and could never end well.
Oops...I just realized this is my 1001st post. I've been busy on a SHMB!
