How did everyone come up with their name

I came to the handle field on the sign up page. The first Batman movie with Jack Nicholson as the Joker was on the tube and Jack Napier was his real name in the movie, so I used it. It wasn't until later that I discovered that it is also the name of a famous pornstar.

Tara came from the Gone with the Wind
