More than one video shows Alex Pretti with a camera in one hand and the other hand extended upward, quite empty.

Questions for Bovino get poor answers.

Bovino took two questions from reporters during his press conference. When he was asked if the man “brandished” his weapon at agents, Bovino said the incident was “under investigation.”

Another reporter then said it did not seem like the man pulled his gun on agents before asking “When does the gun come out?”

“This situation is evolving,” Bovino told her. “This is under investigation, those facts will come to light.”

Seems the story mutated from "no ID" to "no accessible ID".
Video doesn't seem to show any request by agents to show ID.
For someone with 'no ID', Alex Pretti was identified quite quickly.

Two officers fired...at least 10 rounds total.

Actually, initial reviews of the videos indicate that Pretti's gun had actually been taken from him and the agent with the gun was walking away from the scuffle when the first shot (of 10 by two agents) was fired.


Can we really trust Greg Bovino with his history?

As part of a civil lawsuit filed against DHS, Bovino was questioned under oath during which Judge Sara Ellis described him as "not credible."

"Bovino appeared evasive over the three days of his deposition, either providing ‘cute’ responses… or outright lying," Judge Ellis said in her written ruling in November.
