Besides leaving out the words "peaceful and patriotic" in your ""organized" protest", I think you are missing the key point here, to whit: intervening with LEO operations. That's where Pretti made the big mistake - IMMHO. Well... that and being armed while doing so.

You or any other soul could could easily study the topic by simply interfering with a stressful LEO operation in real time and report back on your findings of how it went. Though I would be remiss in not reminding you to proceed unarmed during your first few rounds of experiments.

While you are being booked, maybe ask them about how they would have handled you for interfering in their already stressful engagement if you where openly armed. Perhaps they will appreciate you taking the time to study the topic at hand.
