It's not umcommon for people in the adult industry to have multiple degrees, past main stream careers and other accomplishments.

The truly sad fact is though, the longer a girl stays in the sex industry the harder it is for her to break away and pursue a career in her area of study. The reason being a potential employer would obviously be curious on her level of experiences. I've discovered the opposite, actually. I know many girls who have a degree or more than one, or an advanced degree. And I also know many, including myself, who have another profession in addition to escorting. While I am not discounting what you said it true regarding how long a girl stays in the industry, to me THAT is more the exception than the rule. I think many people make these assumptions based on the age-old stereotypes that most girls are uneducated, molested, poor, come from broken homes, must be unhappy with their lives and can't possibly have chosen a profession they actually like ( hooking) and so forth. And I've known a lot more escorts than most men have seen in their lifetime, even the champion hobbyists on this board and elsewhere.

Prostitution isn't the only thing in the adult industry and girls can have long, fufilling careers in the industry. Porn stars and other entertainers have become doctors, nurses, agents, make up artists, CPA's, etc. There are a ton of careers that specialize in the adult industry.
