Albany Area

Want to let you Hudson Valley area guys know that there is a plan to add the area as its own forum. Not exactly sure when it will happen but they are planning to do so. I am told that it requires a lot of programming to make it happen, so please be patient until it does occur.

Oneonta? Rome?

I say let Albany/Hudson Valley have everything 20 miles east of 81.

Non, No No,
If we base this on the number of providers, we should separate Rochester from the rest of the state.

Can someone please run statistics on the number of providers in Rochester vs. NYS
It appears that the bloody India-Pakistan partition may not be a good enough analogy. We better start looking into how Yugoslavia was broken up:

Remember this?

The Korean War was a war between the Republic of Korea (South Korea), supported by the United Nations, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), supported by the People's Republic of China.

Oh, and this

everything east of Rochester will be included in the Hudson Valley, which includes Syr and Utica. Geographically, Rochester is and hour from Syracuse while Albany is 2 hours. Given the choice - I'd drive to Rochester to visit a provider but would not do so for Albany.
There are significant differences between Rochester and Albany, many related to "upstate" and "downstate" mentality.

IMHO, Syracuse is definately of the upstate category and should NOT be included in Albany/Hudson Valley

Any way you look at it, in order to SEE who is visiting the designated areas, providers should be allowed to post simultaneous ads.

IE Buffalo Mon Tue
Rochester Wed Thu

or Albany Mon Tue
Syracuse Wed Thu

etc.....

Otherwise ladies will be available in said breakdown area and unable to advertise. That would defeat the purpose of seeing who is available in a particular area, yes?
SweetElizabeth, if you are touring, you can post ads in multiple geographical forums:

"All Verified provider and agency usergroups may post one ad per week in up to 5 city forums."

It is bad enough that they also post on many other websites to secure their living, why are we making it harder on them?

In addition, The guys that want to find out what is going on in Albany or Hudson Valley can simply use the search function.

This discussion has been going on for way too long .......................
