An sxcellent review of what Trump has peomised on today's what they delivered (or failed to deliver thus far).

Of special note, it even mentions the rolled markets that some folks pretend didn't happen

the answer to question one is Yes. as to question two i'll leave that for you to ponder. my net is up. Bigly. your doom and gloom premise didn't happen. admit it.

The stock market saw strong double-digit gains in 2025 across major U.S. indices, driven largely by excitement over artificial intelligence (AI) and resilient consumer spending, despite significant volatility from new tariff policies in the spring.

2025 Market Performance Highlights (Year-to-Date as of late December 2025)

  • S&P 500: Up over 17%.
  • Nasdaq Composite: The top performer, gaining more than 22%.
  • Dow Jones Industrial Average: Rose over 14%.

but keep digging up useless articles about the impending market collapse that didn't happen. 2026 perhaps? nah.

That excuse is getting lame, Gristle. Notice I didn't correct your gibberish. Nobody can even guess at what you're trying to say.

Doesn't matter. Sometimes the lamest things are true. This is pretty lame. Thanks Tariffman

You'll probably still be crowing that you're winning when the next Congress removes all Trump's illegal tariffs. That is, if he doesn't plunge us into a shooting war.

When will the SCOTUS rule on the tariffs?? It's seemingly not legal but perhaps could be contorted to this situation if Congress approved.. gonna say that the incredibly stupid application of tariffs are a perfect example of why one guy or small group determining tariffs . And Peter Navarro, ex jailbird, and trumpy sycophant, is driving the bus.

Funny when we say we are you going to put on a 10 or 15% surcharge, but Trump comes back with claims of five and 600% reductions. I'm not sure these guys know how math works, but anything over 100% is zero

Btw - the ex-jailbird earned a PhD in Economics from Harvard. He served time as a matter of principle. Kinda like Judy Miller did back in 2005. You don't have to agree with either of them to admire their fortitude.
The price of crab cakes at my favorite local restaurant just went up 30%. When I asked why, no shit, they told me because of the tariffs. They also made sure to clarify that they weren't trying to get political, but it's just the reality.

So, there you go, MAGA. A local restaurant owner, who may very well have voted for this shit, just got smacked upside the head by the rising costs of keeping crab cakes on the menu.

Who gives a shit if gas down a few cents a gallon when trump's idiotic, and wholly unnecessary, tariffs just made crab cakes go up $6 a plate? And this is just one example.

Nobody's saving any money in the long run.
