What Is Your Favorite Season To Hobby In?

I think this is my favorite time of year.
It's chilly and it makes me wanna snuggle with someone.
Late autumn and winter are my favorite times of the year!

Snowmen, hot chocolate, warm slippers, a raging fireplace - these are just a few of the many wonders of this time of year for me.

In KC, the winters are almost perfect for my taste - we get just enough fluffy snow to call off school for a couple of days but not so much as to trap us inside our homes for weeks at a time. And driving in the snow in KC is usually not too difficult!

This is the season for family holidays, new beginnings and making memories. My most vivid memories from my childhood are of giant snowball fights, crispy cold weather, my breath filling the air like a cloud and scary drives in an old pick-up (that we always somehow survived) on slippery country roads on our way to cut down our Christmas tree. . . .

The Plaza lights, the Mayor's Christmas tree at Crown Center - especially as seen from the American Restaurant (YUMMY) . . . the New Year's celebrations (nothing beats being at the Hyatt Crown Center IMHO) . . . it is a great time of year.

But the best part about winter is holding on tightly to the one I am with after making love under a mountain of blankets, when it is so cold and still outside . . . and if the snow is falling, all the better . . . at this time of year when it is so quiet that I can hear my partner's heart beating while his body gently heaves against mine, with the electricity of the moments we shared just before still running through our veins . . . that time that was just before, when the snow heard US, as we painted the walls of the room with the shouts of our ecstasy.

Now that is a great snuggle, and one you can only get at this time of year!

Kisses,

- Jackie
Jackie,

Can we do this on Monday while you're in Omaha?

I prefer summer. Little shorts and skirts tight shirts tan skin etc. But I will admit that seeing a hot girls all bundled up in stocking caps scarves and cute little tight jeans is fun too. As much as I like panties I will admit I love women in cute lil pink long underwear bottoms. Love snuggling!

After a long, cold winter, being able to get outside again and start doing things... watching the grass grow, the flowers bloom, the trees bud... everything coming back to life again.

We can always turn the air conditioner on, set it for 50 degrees, and find an excuse to snuggle. Wait, do we really need an excuse?
Everyone gets twitterpated in spring. LOL.
It's mating season isn't it?

I guess being an adult in an area where winter was the "thing" solidified those cold weather memories from my childhood in middle Missouri.

And I still say there's nothing better than being under a mountain of blankets . .

Doesn't take spring for me to twitterpate, Allie... I'm an equal opportunity twitterpater...

And I don't know about the mating part, but I figure a guy's got to eat to stay healthy, so... all four seasons work for me!

Some species, such as cats, cows and domestic pigs, are polyestrous and can go into heat several times a year. Seasonally polyestrous animals or seasonal breeders have more than one estrous cycle during a specific time of the year and can be divided into short-day and long-day breeders:

Short-day breeders, such as sheep, goats, deer, foxes, and elk are sexually active now in fall or winter. Which is why you have to be extra careful driving (especially at night) around this time of year and stay on the lookout for deer - they're "getting busy"!

Long-day breeders, such as horses and hamsters, are sexually active in spring and summer.

Species that go into heat twice per year, such as most dogs, are diestrous.

Monoestrous species, such as bears, foxes, and wolves, have only one breeding season a year, typically in spring to allow growth of the offspring during the warm season to survive the next winter.

A few mammalian species, such as rabbits do not have an estrous cycle and are able to conceive at almost any arbitrary moment.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estrous_cycle#Frequency

I've been accused of being rabbit-like in frequency, but, thankfully I"m not rabbit-like in conceiving!

so... all four seasons work for me!

I love to be cold so the winter is better for me. Plus Allie is there to keep me warm...purrrrrr.
I like a window open with a cool breeze gently blowing across our bodies.
