I agree with this. Seeing providers isn't going to build confidence or help you overcome shyness. I speak from experience, after I graduated HS I was still extremely shy and a virgin. So as soon as I turned 18 I started going to strip clubs, and AMPs around Houston to get my female experience. It honestly didn't help as far as real world interacting with women or learning to successfully date. That kinda stuff you just have to learn on your own at your own pace.

Oh I don't know about that. If he's uncomfortable being around women in general and shy/inexperienced in the bedroom the hobby could be a good "no pressure" way to get some exposure and fulfill some fantasies in the process.

It's not some kind of panacea that's going to turn him into a chick magnet or teach him how to pick up civilian women but I can see how it would, over time, eliminate any anxiety he may have associated with being generally around, being naked with, and having sex with women.

There is definitely something to be said for talking to a civilian girl and knowing in the back of your mind that you've fucked way hotter girls before and probably done way dirtier things than this girl you're talking to could imagine.
