Thailand protests and sex workers

I've looked for news on how the protests in Bangkok and curfew has affected the sex workers in Thailand. Haven't found anything concrete yet. Anyone else have links to news articles?

can't find any direct new stories but friends there report all activities way down. even in Pattaya.
I assumed business would be down, I was looking for something more serious. Wondering if sex workers were affected by the violence or by government crackdowns.

The curfew has been extended in until next week. Curfew enforced 11 pm until 4 or 5 am. Look at http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/ or http://www.bangkok-addicts.com/ for more information.

TGG the political unrest is the poor against the rich. The vast majority of the working girls are from the poor NE and are family members of the protesters. As a group, the girls are not targeted by the police. As individuals if they participate in the protests then their targeting is as a protester not a sex worker.
Seanes,

I'm aware of why the protests started -- it's been front page news in Singapore for a while. I'm not asking about girls who are protesters themselves. Anyway, I'll keep digging. Thanks.

Malenurse,

I'll check out your links, thanks.

The protests arent the rich vs the poor. It is very poor people being paid, like mercenaries, to act up against the government by a excommunicated Thai billionaire. Most of those poor dont even know what its about. it was about them getting paid. The PM wanted to stop the buyouts in Thai governemnt and he wouldnt be bought out and that is what happened. The poor also expected government payouts if they voted for the PM, which was the past history. And yes the girls are VERY struggling. There are no customers and the clubs arent open to find customers.
