Arizona AG Launches Investigation Into Maricopa County 'Election Irregularities'

The Arizona attorney general's office has launched an investigation into irregularities in Maricopa County's handling of the midterm elections.

AG Mark Brnovich's election integrity unit has demanded a full report of well-publicized irregularities, and what he claims is evidence of "statutory violations."

The letter, sent late Saturday by Assistant AG Jennifer Wright to the county's top civil division attorney, Thomas Liddy, is a major escalation over widespread problems with voting tabulators and printers, which delayed the declaration of a winner in razor-thin races in the attorney general's race and the gubernatorial race.

Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has questioned the media's premature declaration that her opponent, Democrat Katie Hobbs - who wasn't exactly popular, won.

The letter demands a full report on how voting machine and printer issues were handled, along with a copy of each polling location's Official Ballot Report, as well as explanations for any discrepancies.

Wright also demanded that the evidence be turned over before the final vote certification which is due Nov. 28.

"These complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law," reads the letter. "Furthermore, statements made by both Chairman Gates and Recorder Richer, along with information Maricopa County released through official modes of communication appear to confirm potential statutory violations of title 16."

Among the potential legal violations are poll workers giving improper instructions to voters whose ballot tabulations were delayed by the issues.

"Maricopa County appears to have failed to adhere to the statutory guidelines in segregating, counting, tabulating, tallying, and transporting the ‘Door 3’ ballots,"
wrote Wright. "In fact, Maricopa County has admitted that in some voting locations, ‘Door 3’ non-tabulated ballots were commingled with tabulated ballots at the voting location.

"Further, we have received a sworn complaint from an election observer indicating that more than 1700 “Door 3” non-tabulated ballots from one voting location were placed in black duffle bags that were intended to be used for tabulated ballots."

I love that they’re looking for “irregularities”. Yeah, when all your tests on equipment the night before go swimmingly, and the next day nothing works, that’s pretty fucking irregular. We’re these Chrysler machines? That’s the only way I’m buying it.

Democrats in Maricopa County are curing ballots after the deadline - and claiming they called the voter BEFORE the deadline and the voter just got back to them. This is illegal.

If the voting fraud in Maricopa was reversed, i.e. if pro-MAGA election officials made the machines not work on election day and were unable to count mailed Dem ballots, armed FBI agents would be on the scene in minutes, the Corrupt media would carry primetime Biden speech on Democracy’s end, the corrupt media would be in 24/7 meltdown.

Unsurprisingly, election & poll workers, attorneys report chaos and mismanagement in Maricopa County. 85% of worker survey respondents lack confidence in outcome, say officials caused chaos. Read the report, watch the testimony here:

Maricopa County Voting Centers Plagued with Tabulation Errors on Election Day Affected Areas Averaging Well Over 300 Percent More Republicans Than Democrats

Voters encountered problems casting their ballots at 70 of the 223 vote centers in Maricopa County on election day, resulting in long lines and concerns that ballots ended up not tabulated or “misread,” and commingled with ballots that had already been tabulated. Averaged together, the problems occurred in areas with well over 300 percent more registered Republicans than Democrats. Of those 70 precincts affected, 59 were in heavily Republican-voting areas, and two were republican-leaning but not heavily, with only nine from Democrat-leaning or solidly Democrat areas.

Arizona Corporation Commissioner Jim O’Connor, who has led the effort to stop the use of electronic voting machine tabulators, said that county officials must resign due to the problems. “Voters of all political parties have been damaged with the gross incompetence or worse conducted by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, County Recorder and Election Director of the 2022 General Election,” he told The Arizona Sun Times. “Reports continue to flood in detailing abuses of voters and our once trusted election procedures. I encourage current office holders at the County to resign immediately. Should they fail to do so immediately, a recall needs to be undertaken after the first of the new year.”

Shortly after the problematic election, O’Connor called for all the Maricopa County Supervisors and Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer to resign. Maricopa County Member-at-Large Brian Ference wants Richer and Bill Gates, chair of the Maricopa County Supervisors, to resign. Robert Canterbury, who unsuccessfully ran against Maricopa County Supervisor Clint Hickman in 2020, is considering starting a recall against Gates.

The tabulator problems clearly only happened in the more heavily Republican-voting areas of the county, since Republicans barely have an edge over Democrats for voter registration throughout the county, 34.67 percent to 30.66 percent.

A factor contributing to the disproportionate effect the tabulation problem had affecting Republicans more than Democrats was the high number of Republicans voting in-person on election day, in contrast to Democrats who voted heavily by early ballot. At 4:30 p.m., ABC-15 Data Analyst Garrett Archer tweeted that 54 percent of voters so far that day were Republicans versus 16 percent Democrat voters, which means there were well over 350 percent more Republicans than Democrats. Independents and Libertarians made up the rest.

While officials initially claimed only 20 percent of locations were affected, that was revised at least 50 percent more than that, 31 percent — or 70 of the 223 vote centers established by the county – that were open on election day. Kari Lake and her campaign, who believe that number may be even higher, constituting 52 percent of the locations, responded to a tweet from Rasmussen Reports about the numbers, “The tabulators in Maricopa County worked 100% of the time during an early voting season that heavily favors the @azdemparty. They worked just 52% of the time on Election Day for the @AZGOP. Maricopa Count[y] consists of 62% of Arizona. This election was broken.”

When Republicans lose elections, it can never be " their candidates suck", it's always a conspiracy.

Fucking cuck-servatives.

And you think what happened (in overwhelmingly red areas) in Arizona was cool beans? Would you feel the same if it was black neighborhoods?

When libs are caught red handed cheating in elections, it can never be that they were wrong or that there was voter fraud. Nope they count on their low information cucks to support cheating and disenfranchising voters as long as it helps libtard politicians win.

The crazy ass left have conditioned their brain dead base to think things like this are normal

LMAO! Conspiracy? Not even those claiming the mess in Arizona was accidental aren’t denying the election was a complete clusterfuck.

Two Arizona counties have ruled they will delay certification of the midterm elections already, citing voting issues on election day, but yeah want to bet there are some ill-informed left wing cucks who will pretend no problems existed?

More on the Maricopa Voter Fraud.

The election was run by the crazy cat lady lib running for Governor (yeah she was in charge of the machines and counting votes for her OWN election) and a deranged anti-Lake fanatic in Maricopa.

The man in charge of Maricopa Co's disastrous elections is Stephen Richer. He ran an anti-Kari Lake PAC.

AZ Sun Times: ALL expenditures from Richer's PAC were spent telling Arizonans NOT to vote for Lake.

Richer’s PAC received money from a man who donates to almost exclusively Democrats. Francis Najafi gave $20,000 to his PAC, $60,000 to the Arizona Democratic Party, and $5,300 to Democratic Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who is running for governor.

The Attorney General’s laid out multiple violations of the law – numerous, in fact. Recorder Richer created a political action committee specifically to oppose candidate that were on the ballot in the election that he was tasked with overseeing. There is clearly misconduct – 16-672 in Arizona Revised statutes is one area that we are looking into to hold these guys accountable.

Utterly corrupt

Meanwhile Ducy welcomes the new Gov Hobbs, while Lake was seen at a waffle house and heard talking Bigly to some "cyber ninjas".

This time they'll find those rice paper ballots, and save the Day for Kari Lake. She should just go back to being the mouthpiece at a TV studio. These people rarely turn out to deeper than a kiddie pool.
