At what point should agency or girls with handlers disclose their existence?

A number of recent girls have arrived who refer to their 'friends' who also provide in provider ads and a number of reviews and posts seem to allude to the fact that someone else is handling the appointments and even suggesting someone else is writing the ads. It seems that they may by trying to hide the fact that they are handled or part on an as of yet, undisclosed agency. There are benefits to being an eccie independent provider vs an agency gal - can post individual provider ads, mentioning friends, but not limited by the agency ad guidelines... Independent Provider review forum reviews which get more visibility than the agency review forum... And avoid any stigma of handled/agency/"managed" girls.

At what point is there enough evidence of assembly line booking by a third party, someone else other than the girl answering pm-s/texts/emails/etc, girls not knowing acronyms that appear in their own ads,....

I would think that avoiding disclosure may rise to the level of false advertising and if you're using this site, gents on here deserve to know who they are communicating with to make an honest assessment of whether they'd like to see one of the girls. If they aren't writing their own ads, there are site guidelines for handlers and agencies that like guidelines for independent providers are expected to follow, these "groups" should also be expected to follow. There are stories of guys making appointments with one girl only to arrive and have a different girl greet him.

I could care less how someone wants to run their business, but I, and many others, use this site to help avoid the pitfalls of bp/cl/moco girls like bait and switch, ncns, donation changes upon arrival, etc... All of which have been reported on this site for some of these gals.

For the girls that are being handled, you're being done a disservice. While some guys will sing your praises, many have avoided you bc of the some of these issues. There have been great reviews of some solid skills and beautiful ladies - consider seeking advice of some ladies on here and do your own thing - run your own business, learn from some of the mistakes that have been made.

Anyway, it seems pretty obvious what's going on and just wondering when there is enough evidence that you may as well disclose who and how your business is run?
Um... sometimes I feel like I need a handler....

Anyone want to fondle.. I mean, handle me? LOL I'm kidding.

I personally think it should be brought up in the beginning. Just something to the effect of maybe, "initial correspondence is handled by so and so or such and such agency, once approved for appt the model will be in contact."

I dunno. Something like that

Definitely should be brought up in beginning if a lady has representation. I think necessary for safety and trust part of the hobby.

P411 I think tries to make that more transparent, but I doubt it really is working.

Some of the handlers I've discovered happen to be girls who aren't making it that well in the escorting end, so are doing handling. Some see an opportunity to make some extra cash "helping" girls out. In some cases they're doing the girl and the guy a service because some of these girls' organizational skills are non-existent.

I don't like hidden handlers/pimps. Call 'em what you like. One example why follows. A very tall hot hispanic girl was in atx for awhile a few years ago. Model looks, claimed she was a bikini model and I believe it. I had a session with her. Her menu was different than what was on P411. I challenged her on that and she was surprised and said she never saw her ad. WTF?! "Oh there's a girl who used to escort handling the incalls and ads for a couple of us." Nice.

It's rare to deal with a reputable, conscientious agency, handler, booker, pinp, or anything else you want to call 'em.

If a girl lists herself as indy she should be indy. If she needs a whatever you want to call it she should say it. It makes a difference to me.
I hear you and that was a perfect example. I've always been indy because well, I live two lives and in both I do everything myself anyways. I personally don't want someone handling my business, I wouldn't even want someone washing my clothes for me.

So, since you're the independent type, here's a kinda related example of how having a "helper" we'll call it can suck:

I girl in Houston I saw a couple times in atx was very friendly and we got along very well. So well that we spent a good deal of time talking over lunch. It turns out she had a webmaster taking care of her site. No big deal, very reasonable. During IM's back and forth to set up our first appointment I almost told this girl to piss off. I was convinced she was on forbidden topic stuff or a moron. So disjointed. It turns out the web master was also "helping" with scheduling. I was IM ing 2 people and didn't even know it. Eventually that got straightened out and the session was a good one.

So the escort tells me she's not happy with the web meister, she's taking over her site and doing what she wants and won't give the escort the password to access her own site! WTF!

How would you like that kind of dysfunctional "help", lol.

I have no problems with agencies or pimps so long as they are not hiding what they are.

I think several have felt the need to do that here on ECCIE based on posts like these that indicate some guys boycott any girl affiliated with an agency.

They should all take a lesson from the thousands of ads posted every day by those that never contribute that simply do their business, collect their money and never participate in the forums.

Some cities have more than one reputable agency that racks up good reviews and deals well with customer issues.

There was a board in Florida that catered heavily to Agencies and did an extremely good business. They went so far as to not allow a girl to leave an Agency and go Indy with the same name or try to claim the reviews of her as an Agency girl were her. They were blackballed from the site for 90 days.

Those that post like you and make such statements.... any of us here that are posting.... we are NOT by any means reflective of the large amount of guys and gals using ECCIE....

BackPage is very successful for this medium.... Others want to slam it a lot but a large number of the new successful girls on ECCIE were Backpage Providers prior....

Don't be a wuss.... If you KNOW someone is pretending or fronting call them out. Ask them specifially in a public forum and see where it goes. You have a RIGHT to know. We all do.
Agencies and assistants are welcome here. They just need to let the staff know.

Absolutely #2... My point about avoiding the stigma some associate with an agency.

I'm not claiming to speak for all... Just observing that in many of the posts that inspired my question, gents have been complaining about these behaviors and indicating they would not see or attempt to see some of tha gals again. Agree, Backpage can and has been a good resource and many lovely ladies got there start there and some still use it. Personally, I've found the likelihood of shenanigans increases as a whole when using bp and it's harder to weed out the signal from the noise... Which is why I mentioned this site helps avoid that because of the information shared here in one place. I've had bad experiences with girls from here too but I've been able to reduce the risk of that by reading reviews and comments from others. At least a verified provider here has had SOMEONE vouch for them. Not fool proof, but a history of posts, ads, reviews, etc help increase the likelihood I'll know what to expect. Again, not foolproof but my experience has been better results using eccie... In addition to other resources.

Good point, and if I KNEW for certain, you bet I would. The evidence is compelling, but circumstantial, and unfortunately, most of it is in reviews or the men's lounge so I won't disclose ROS or private content. I'd addition to the questions I asked, I'm hoping others will consider this thread an opportunity to share their concerns in public.

Absolutely #3, yes, we all have a right to know!

I myself prefer to stick to Indy providers however I know that has not always been the case even though they advertise as being Indy. Some ladies prefer to have assistance be it through another provider, pimp or agency.
Basically just DO YOUR HOMEWORK, if it doesn't feel right don't go there!

They are running a business. This board is about information. Why not directly ask the question here in the forum?

First of all, I submitted my pictures. They were really good. But, later, I found out, they were playing the whole bait-and-switch. The ads were aimed at Riverwalk tourists and they were so explicit to the point that clients would believe I was willing to do BB services. (The forbidden one, yes!). I cannot tell you how many time I walked out of the room. A

I only found out that they were not using my pictures and that the ads were not what I had agreed I was willing to provide, when when gentlemen, who I happened to know in the RW, showed it to me.

That was it for me. I called the agency and said I was quitting. They were furious. Threatened to out me by posting face pictures, so I said I would sue if they did that.

I'm so glad I finally went independent. In the beginning, it was a little scary and I became less naive as time went by. I wouldn't trade this independence for nothing.
Wow. I can't believe I'm saying but Whispers is making sense.
I believe honesty is the best policy. If a provider has assistance I would like her to let me know.
