Hi, I recently moved to Chicago from California (and LV before that). I've come across a couple of providers hosting out of hotels in outlying areas (north, airport, naperville). And yes I'm talking about the types you would find on Adult Search. I might have something non-Asian lined up at a hotel in Skokie-ish area, but I would like to know if hotel meetings are generally considered safe in the area (both the provider, physical crimnals like robbing, and LE).
Note that I'm aware of 90% of the ads on that site having fake/IG pictures and the 50/50 shot of it being a scammer. Despite the fake pics, I know a good deal of these ads back in California were legitimate providers and not otherwise looking to scam you or LE. Basically just ads that are a crapshoot of what the actual person would look like or do. Some of those operated out of hotels or apartments, but it's mostly Asian operators (which isn't what I'm currently looking at for this meetup).
Is it the same situation in Chicago and surrounding areas? I've done enough research that I don't think this one is a scammer as far as online scammers go. But chances of physical in-person harm or LE?
I would also note that I got spammed with a bunch of escort/cartel coming for your family scam messages from some other number I reached out to. Never experienced that in CA or LV.
