The Corrupt DOJ's Cover Up Continues

Attorney General Garland just refused to answer if he has had any conversations with U.S. Attorney David Weiss. He is claiming that even confirming such conversations would abridge confidential communications. There is no question that he can answer whether such conversations occurred. When Bill Barr testified as Attorney General he confirmed subjects even in communications with the President while declining details on conversations.

This means Corrupt Garland committed perjury in his earlier testimony

AG Merrick Garland just admitted that David Weiss did NOT have full authority during the Hunter Biden investigation.

"They could refuse to partner with him."

This directly contradicts Garland's previous claims about Weiss' authority.

While Barr was in office, he was a two faced SOB. He lied about reading the reports he saw, and simply used "other guidance", and while I don't like anyone saying shit like "unaware of" or "cannot testify on current investigations", it's been a mantra of every administration since the past 60 yrs.

Billy Barr was a huge assclown, who did more to damage credibility of the DOJ, while in office than anyone who was in there before cept for his buddy Jeff Sessions. Even Sessions had the common sense to recuse himself when there was a conflict of interest.

Barr was not only a political propagandist tool, he was supporting the full agenda of the Trump administration, till he left, and then said afterwards what an asshole Donnie was. Atleast I'll give him a mea culpa mulligan since he finally came clean on the stupidity of it all. I guess when you are writing a book " one damn thing after another", you have to throw yourself on a proverbial million dollar sword of integrity. It's funny that wasn't available prior when he was head of the DOJ. He was a lap dog for Trump and his lackys.

Garland just admitted to Chairman Jordan that he never considered anyone else for the Special Counsel position. He said it would be disruptive to appoint anyone else. Yet, a bit of disruption is precisely what many were hoping for in light of the whistleblowers and botched plea deal. Even liberal pundits have described the handling of the investigation an "unholy mess." Disrupting an unholy mess does not seem a bad idea

What is also striking is the lack of curiosity of the Attorney General. He was repeatedly asked about major scandals at his department and he insisted that he only knew what was in the media. Matters raised two years ago to Garland remain a mystery
