US and UK Planning Syrian Revolution

From the "Oh, Yeah, This Worked So Well Before" Department, comes news that the US and UK are training dissidents for a revolution in Syria. My only question is, after receiving our help, will the new Syrian government hate us more than the old one, or about the same?
