Art Experts??

I recently stumbled upon this painting and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. More importantly the artist and/or value (if any)?
I know very little about art so I have no clue, and cannot read the artist's signature (close up pic attached).
If anyone knows anything about this or can refer me to someone who does, please let me know. I am curious to find some answers about it.
