This is the first golf tournament I have watched in years. Entertaining but a changed game. Everyone hitting drives 290 yards, and a 200 yard shot over water is a 6 iron. There are no obstacles anymore......you just take the air route over them.
I did see hope for the par 5s on Sunday. If you create treacherous areas around the greens, then anyone going for the green in 2 shots, and not making it, can have a big problem if they miss....leading to bogeys and double bogeys.

It was an excellent show, with all the village nincompoops out in force with their crazy cell phone to get a picture.
