You got them mixed up, Yankee. It was not "Ann Landers". The person who died this week at 94 wrote the advice column "Dear Abby" from 1956 to 2002. Her real name was Pauline Phillips. The advice column "Dear Abby" is still there (under her daughter Jeanne Phillips) if you need help.

Incidentally, the rival advice column "Ann Landers" was written between 1955 and 2002 by Eppie Lederer, the twin sister of Pauline Phillips.
