FS is permitted for the police officer. It's the same as an undercover officer completing a drug transaction in order to bust a street dealer.
Is it?
  1. Agreeing to buy drugs = agreeing to buy sex
  2. Using drugs = having sex
  3. Agreeing to buy drugs /= using drugs
  4. Agreeing to buy sex /= having sex

But, you say having sex = agreeing to buy drugs? Can a cop who agrees to be a hitman actually kill someone?

Also,

Sec. 43.02. PROSTITUTION. (a) A person commits an offense if he knowingly:
(1) offers to engage, agrees to engage, or engages in sexual conduct for a fee;
If no mention of sex for money is ever made by the escort, and the officer has sex with her, then pays her with the intent of showing that she "engaged in sexual conduct for a fee," how could you prove that she did that knowingly? If I met a woman at a hotel bar, had a few drinks, fucked her, and then left $100 on the bed, is she now a prostitute?
If you don't mind my asking, how did you know that it was truly a vice agent and not just some jackass with a hard dick and a list of random phone numbers telling you you're gonna be in a whole lot of trouble if you don't just do what the nice man says?

Well for what this is worth. When I first started this biz in june 09 I got a reg call an went an then found out it was someone with HPD vice. After the shock wore off an I realized I was not going to jail He told me what he wanted. He gave me a piece of paper with all the numbers vice will call u from. I was weary at first and then he made it perfectly clear he wanted a freebe from me. He said He would give me the updated phone numbers every 6 mos. So any who he has contacted me since and I will not respond to his calls. If anyone is interested I still have his an all phone numbers he gave me. PM me and I will give them to you. I can also find his email if you want that cause I want to make sure if I ever get busted I have something for my attorney to work with. Originally Posted by sweetblonde

Just curious, but have any of the numbers ever come up on your caller ID? I'm thinking there's no upside to giving you real vice numbers. Copy em from the phonebook, and there's less chance of getting in hot water if you ever try to use it against him. When none of the numbers ever show up, the cop says, "you owe me for that. I'm looking out for you". If by chance one does show up on your caller ID, you won't answer because it's on the list. Game theory lives.

Free pussy, right out of the yellow pages. Come to think of it, how sure are you that he's a real cop?

Not trying to offend, just speculation. Originally Posted by PODarkness

In certain communities I'm familiar with there's sex in your face at every turn anyway and people who end up on jury panels have steadily become more, let's say, jaded - not cynical, per se, but more like, "We're busy people so just give us the facts and our instructions so we can get out of here." Used to be most prosecutors would tell the cops to testify they stopped short of having sex with the provider. Jurors went, "Wink, wink." But now there's a risk they'll hold it against the State if they sense the cop is lying - only takes one to hang. So more prosecutors are expecting the cop to tell the truth when the question is, "Did you and the defendant have sex?" If he says yes, it won't make any difference to what the jury has to decide. If anything, they'll be less skeptical of the officer's credibility. Has the cop, too, committed the offense of prostitution? Probably. But in Texas by admitting to it under oath he (or she) gets immunity from prosecution.
