Spring visit to Bogota but concerned about registration of visitors.

Hi Friends:

Just joined the forum today. Planning a visit to Bogota for a couple of weeks. Yes I have done my homework. Always staying in North Bogota to stay safe and always call for taxis (not flag one on street) and already know the only two reliable agencies are solitasparati (the best one) and La Celestina (the largest one) they both have consistently good reviews. I actually not seeking sex or anything of sexual nature but rather companionship as I love Latin brunettes with light skin so looks rather than services is important to me (real pictures).

All that said I am concerned about something that may be normal in Bogota that is ALL visitors must register at hotel entrance with the security and leave their ID and yes I know it is for everyone's safety myself included (even if I rent an apartment all apartments in Bogota have security guards checking visitors.

Two issues with that. First the visiting lady may not wish to do do for discretion reason and it is understandable and second the security will notice a new arrival to Colombia having a large number of visitors half his age (I like ladies in their 20's) as I plan two visitors a day so the guards may get suspicious and call the police (I hear that only in designated areas in the unsafe south part it is legal and it is not legal elsewhere? not sure what would be the penalty for it but I am not a risk taker and wish to do everything legal. Any suggestions how I can avoid registration of my visitors? Have you gentlemen ever had issues related to this in a hotel or apartment in Bogota?

Thanks in advance.

Dont worry about that. all the ladies in the area are very aware of this and I have never had an issue with any of them having to register at a hotel. And dont worry about the hotel calling local law enforcement...unless u try to bring in a minor nobody cares about it.

Two a day for two weeks could be pushing it, depending on the hotel. You might want to ask them before you book whether there will be a problem. I agree with Andrenoir, the women won't be concerned in the slightest about discretion.
Thanks Tiny for the advice. Yes you are right. Also all hotel are saying that only registered guests can enter the rooms as their policy. I was thinking same and is planning on a few hotels may be a few days each?.

On another note as I was looking I came across something very strange. For the largest (and likely most famous) escort agency in Bogota (La Celestina) I found two sites with completely different pricing. The one in Colombian currency and the agency site is priced reasonable and the other site likely for foreigners for most of the very same ladies it is 3 times higher!!!!. Some having ridiculous figure like 5 digits in US dollars. What on earth. It this a two price system one likely for Colombian nationals in Colombian Peso
http://lacelestina.co/
and another for likely foreign nationals in US dollars many times higher(considering that 1$US = 3000 Peso).

If so this is totally unacceptable.

As others have said. Don't worry. The part that got me was some hotels asked you to pay an additional fee to have the extra (unregistered) guest go to your room.

Just ask the hotel either upon arrival or prior to their policy. That being said sometimes, in the early times I'd give the doorman a tip and heads up. He'd walk the girl up registration free. I am sure he shared the tip with the others.

Then there are hotels that don't charge but do register. Hotel Cosmos 116 is a good example. They are a nice hotel and do not charge, but will register. I've stayed there a bunch.

Also, if you book with AirBnB, there is no worry as you'll be in your own apartment. My advise...stick with SolitasParaTi.
Thanks for additional advice look74. Yes I am tending toward airbnb as well but even there visitors will have to be announced. This means the doorman will call me and ask for my permission for the visitor to come up. Yes I will try stick with solitasparati as much as I can but they don't have many English speaking ladies (not much point to have the companionship of ladies with whom I am dumb and deaf) but La Celestina and Eroticas appears to have more English speaking ladies.

I agree with Look74. Solitas and Niisha are the safest option./
Thanks gentlemen on solitasparati advice. When you say safest you mean in terms of having those with real pictures and reliability or you mean in terms of safety as for likelihood of others from other agencies may rob or or hurt me?

Meaning you get the lady in the pic.

Relax, have fun. English is a plus, not a necessity. Be a gentleman and the rest will take care of itself.

I'll be there in 2 weeks, myself. Hurray for me!
Hurray look74. Have a very pleasant and safe trip and thanks again. Look forward to your reviews.
Anyone familiar with Royalty LA Bohemia. Ladies need to register. Coming next week.

Men with girls half their age at a hotel is very common, hotel WILL NOT call police, why would they? Two different girs per day, may irritate the hotel staff, but as stated will depend of the hotel, getting to know their satff, being familiar with the hotel policy and the rate your pay is important to know. TIP the staff. Trust me, if you tip them you will be able to do it. Also. Remember, depending of the hotel, you do not have to be seen everytime walking with the girls, have them ask for you, find out ahead of time if a hotel staff can escort them to your room. Been there, done that.
Thanks Pica Flor for the info.

Just to contribute back a bit, I read that Lloyds is girl friendly. They just call you that you have a visitor and then send her up. I also read that Sofitel too is girl friendly (by official site) but I don't like that hotel as rooms are small and they are way too expensive.
