Beaver Banners

I dont want to come off like some a-hole from Austin with more time than sense, but this is starting to irritate me.

Eccie has a no beaver shot rule. Has from day one. I respect the rule, and until recently concentrated mainly on ta tas as I peruse the site looking for rentals. Dont agree with the rule, think its stupid, but I respect it.

However, the banner ads are flashing beaver all over the place. Brown beaver, pink beaver, bald beaver, fuzzy beaver, tawt young beaver, gaping beaver, swollen beaver, pierced beaver - any kind of beaver you can think of.

God bless America and the first amendment, I have no problem with the flashing beaver banner ads.

But, it seems stupid. The banners are flashing beavers all over Eccie, and the Eccie gals are prohibited from flashing their own beavers. Instead of perusing actual beavers that I might plow, I'm distracted by bs flashing beavers on the banner ads.

Seems to me that equal rights, due process and the first amendment demand that Eccie gals be allowed to post the same beaver pics that the bs banner ads flash. Eccie needs a one beaver for all policy. If the gays can marry, equality demands a one beaver policy on Eccie. Lets see how gay they are once they been married two or three times. But, I digress.

Back to the point. Why are banners ads flashing all the beaver they want all over Eccie, and a gal trying to make a living is precluded from flashing actual beaver that I might hit?

Ya got a point.....

I don't want to flash mine, but apparently it's ok if you pay to flash.

The rule came into play account of the old CC processor that had a no adult content clause... it was also the reason that the providers could not place rates or certain acronyms in their ads.
Here is a tread talking about the changes... it's a short 6 page read. http://www.eccie.net/forumdisplay.php?f=574

With the newer CC processor the rule is now pretty much defunct (IMO) but is still listing in the forum guidelines and is enforced as such.
The interesting thing is that even though it is listed in the guidelines...
#12 - Respect the posted "Image Standards" which apply to our public coed forums. (including Showcase) In short, images which depict subjects which are topless are allowed, but below the waist nudity which displays exposed genitalia or images depicting pornography are to be avoided. Additionally, posting URL links to external sites depicting pornography is not permitted. (use RTM to report images which you feel may not be in compliance)
The posted "Image Standards" are hard to find, account the posted image standard that this guideline use to refer to has been removed.

When you click on the Forum Guideline link there use to be three (3) post on the thread... one post from each of the owners.
If my memory serves me the post from T-Bone included what was known as the "Image Standards".
His post and Becky's have both been removed for what ever reason... not sure when they were removed or why.
