Cant post new pics to showcase

Every time I try to upload pictures to my showcase or change my avatar it just says there is an error. Any tips?

May have something to do with new photo hosting guidelines.

Such cannot be loaded directly here, as I understand it, but must be hosted elsewhere and then displayed here via a link of some sort.
