Weird change of policy at the Days Inn...

So, I had occasion to get a room at the Days Inn on Banksville last week, and they have a sign up in the lobby now that says that anyone who shows an ID on check-in with a Pittsburgh address will only be permitted to stay a maximum of two nights (didn't say if that was two nights on a single reservation, or two nights within a certain period of time, or two nights ever...). It further says that if anyone local shows up with a prepaid reservation for more than two nights, the full reservation will not be honored, and the guest will be refunded for any prepaid nights in excess of two.

Do we think they're doing this to stop local Listcrawler/STG girls from setting up shop there? Or is it more that they're trying to stop people from effectively living there?

If it's the former, that's kind of ironic - I didn't see any signs of any girls plying their trade there, and I searched diligently for someone to come and visit me (as long as I had a room and all), and came up completely empty...

There was a lot of unlawful activity going on there. I’m surprised they didn’t level it once the new went up next to it. I saw many girls there back in the day.
Holiday inn now requires a 200 refundable deposit if you book a room with a zip code within 50 miles of the location.
