What to do near SAU - Magnolia, AR

Have not done much traveling since the start of 'the mess', but I have some work coming up at the medical center in Magnolia. Not too familiar with the area, but looks to be slim pickings as one might expect in this part of the world. Already too hot to fish. Texarkana is a bit of a stretch for driving. Any suggestions, insight, or even a 'you poor bastard, I feel for you' appreciated.

You poor bastard. Lol. My background there is like yours slim to none as far as pickings. Texarkana and Shreveport bout it, although I’m not familiar with the pickings in those two places. I was stuck near there for a month, Texarkana was it, occasionally a legit traveler go thru but lot of stg junk.

Your best bet is find someone willing to drive to you. Longer spots make that more attractive. Try lovely lady in your bed.
