I haven't been in a couple of years and won't make it this time. It has been one of the better events in Birmingham, but I've lost interest.

Just looked at the lineup and I'll miss this years as well. Like most, the musical line ups have wained as the venues' popularity have grown. Snoop & Megadeth would be the only acts I'd care to see.

I'll be there.

We have not been before but are considering going down for it. Do the VIP tickets offer an advantage or are those areas crowded? I would like to go but I am not a fan of being packed in like a sardine.

Usually the VIP adds an advantage over being stuffed in one area but last year it sucked.

And if it is true they will be running metal detectors at the gates I'm NOT going..

Insert sad face: I have to work this weekend but I'm trying hard to make it out to party. Wineloft or the Steel or the BlueMonkey.

I ended up not going. Eveyone at my job fell ill so I had to work.
(I bet they lied so they could go!)
