I was reading a medical journal article on eyesight and one of the statistics noted was the percentage of people in the world with each of the different eye colors. I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that the most common eye color is brown, somewhat more than half of all humans have brown eyes.
What I found interesting is that green, hazel, and amber eyes are the rarest, well besides the aberrations like red in albinos and other colors due to diseases. However, in looking through the showcases here I see a lot of women stating that they have green, hazel or amber eyes -- like more than half.
So how is it that there are so many women here with colors that in the rest of the world only comprise about 6% of the population but on here it seems like over half of the women have eyes that are one of those rare colors?
Is there some correlation between eye color and sexual openness? My empirical evidence says "there might be."
Any thoughts?
