Time to lighten the mood

A bit of drama in the alerts section so i thought I'd try to lighten the mood some. Using the term 'escort' literally, ladies what's the funniest or oddest place or event you've ever escorted a gentleman to? Same to you guys, I've seen posts for companionship to movies, spurs games, etc.

One of the funniest situations I've recently faced was in mid-April, in the midst of an overnighter downtown with Purrrsia.

The original plan was to get dinner before walking a few blocks to a Friday night flamenco performance.

Dinner, featuring a wine pairing with each course, was beyond fabulous; it was legendary. Unfortunately, by the time we left the restaurant (after 11:00 PM), the flamenco had nearly ended; we arrived just in time to catch ~30 seconds of the final number.

Despite our pleas, no encores; so, over the drinks we'd ordered, Purrrsia suggested:

"Hey, want to go 'slumming' at the local 'dive' bar a couple doors down?"

What the heck.

Good thing the jukebox was playing a series of cumbia numbers, or I'm sure a deafening silence would have fallen over the bar as Purrrsia, in her elegant black-on-white pattern dress, and I in my black Hart Schaffner Marx suit, stepped across the threshold.

Immediately, a man standing next to the door commanded:

"I need to pat you down."

I complied, figuring that this was the sort of place where pat-downs were necessary.

Purrrsia, however, challenged:

"Pat down for what?"

"For weapons."

As he continued, she persisted, in the most indignant tone she could muster:

"Are you through with him yet?!!!"

"OK, he's OK."

As we made our way toward the back of the bar, Purrrsia, chuckling, murmured:

"I don't think he's a bouncer. He's gay, and wanted to feel you up."

Then, getting into the cumbia, Purrrsia sensuously raised her arms, swayed her hips, and twirled on her classic heels.

"Dance with me," she urged.

"I can't dance worth a crap. You lead, Babe."

Doing my best to match Purrrsia's steps, I took her by one raised hand, twirling her again and again to the rhythm. After a couple numbers, we left, the entire bar applauding us as we made our way to the door.

Reading that reminds my evening going to the Opera with a favourite.
Never been in my life.
Couldn't understand a lick of the language (Thanks god for closed caption.)
Did a tourist bar downtown where my date was invited on the bar and received plenty of attention.
Topped it off going to a drag show on the strip.
Good memories.

Trying hard to find a spot to top our over the top movie date on a cold evening, Alpha and I went on a search one early evening for another venture. One place led to another, but not what we had imagined.

To our unsatisfaction with locales near by, we ended up in the vehicle for the first half of the date, first for me anything like that...

I escorted a gentleman to a fundraiser once. His boss /coworkers and their wives were all there at the table with us. It was actually very nice.
