What is the deal?

So, I had three appointments set up with providers this week. I did three because in the past several weeks several have canceled or left town earlier for whatever reason.

So far, two out of the three have canceled. One with no notice, I had to contact her. The third it sounds like is now on the fence and will likely not show up here. So, I thought I would set something else up and during the screening process she wants to know details down to my height, weight, hair and Eye color. Jesus Christ, why don't I just give you my address and kids cell phone numbers as well. I understand everybody needs to remain safe but I provided references.

Everybody wants you to pre-book. When you pre-book they don't show up anyway. I don't know if I'm going to be horny in three weeks when you show up to my city, chances are I will be but I don't know what's going on in my life tomorrow let alone three weeks from now.

Why does it have to be so fucking difficult?
A lot of providers run ads saying they are coming here, but what they are really doing is looking for pre-bookings. If they don't get enough, they don't come. Des Moines guys are not pre-bookers, so it's a vicious circle. At least one of our collection of fine locals is complaining Des Moines is dead, so why not partake of our local talent?

I used to be all about the pre-books as well until I learned it's much easier to start a tour when I arrive or maybe a week or two ahead TOPS than to have something 100% pre-booked And then have it all fall apart and then try and scramble and rebook those spots and having to do all that rescreening etc etc etc. It must be in the water-I have had two no call no shows since Monday and before this week I had only had that happen twice in my whole year and a half of doing this. On the flipside I know summers can be a little crazy and unpredictable with kiddos out of school as well which tends to throw that extra wrench into things. I know for me personally at least I am so wrapped up with sports and activities that I can probably only work about a third of what I usually do!
I think alot of places are last minute cities..you may have zero prebooks but go to that city anyway and stay busy.

I wouldn't go as far as saying DSM guys "just don't pre-book" BUT relying on being booked up before you come wouldn't work.
I'd say i'm generally low/high about 1/3 to 1/2 booked by the time I come to town and the rest come when I arrive. QC was decent okay for that too. CR is another story tho. I don't have experience with other IA cities...yet.
I deeply appreciate pre-books esp since I come from D.C. which is hardly around the corner from Iowa so to thicksean I feel very bad that so many of your plans have fallen through so frequently lately.

Prebooks are essential when deciding what cities to tour...I try to get at least 3. Prebooks before I start the tour to any city....Iowa is tricky though.I usually have a couple sweet regulars who prebook then I pick a few up as it gets right for tour time.

Sorry that happened...good luck next time babe
