The way providers feel about pm's that aren't about sessions.
As the topic shows. I'm curious how providers feel about this. It could be a compliment on what you're wearing or how sexy you look in your showcase.
If I have not met said provider, I always take the cautious approach and keep it strictly business. A quick happy greeting and let her know I'd like to see her at some point soon and what I need to make this a happy and comfortable exchange. If I have met this provider once or mutliple times and we clicked, I will send a message here or there to compliment. Once a week, if that. I usually do send an immediate PM/message after we met and thank her for the wonderful time and that I hope to see her again soon. I guess I just don't want to be known as the time waster or the stalker type that she thinks I'm falling in love or something. I just like to be nice and let her know how she made my day. I'm curious to know what the providers have to say on this topic as well. If I had to guess, I would say its a case by case or I should say person by person basis. Different providers = different personalities = different provider/hobbyist relationships. Just my $0.15! :-P
I'll very occasionally send a random compliment or "Thinking of You" PM to a lady that I have seen before, and I've always received a nice response. The more popular providers get dozens of messages a day by PM, email and text and the last thing I want or need is a rep as a time waster.
Other than for making initial contact with a lady, PMs for me are to exchange info with my fellow mongers.
I prefer to keep PM's about scheduling. Compliments for me can stay in the open forum. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate it, but it's my preference for organizational purposes.
I Ocassionally get some sweet compliments via PM and they are always most humbly appreciated. To take the time and thought to send me a message like that really makes my day. Thanks to all those sweet and thoughtful gents.

I enjoy banter either with new clients or potential clients...flirting is good for the soul!
I like them but after two or three from the same person and still no booking or screening info then I stop replying.
I would think PM system on ECCIE would be for business uses.
No problem with an errant comment/question/compliment.
But those should not fill the bandwidth of the net.
