It happened! I ran into a client at Oysterback AND...

...he called me "Arriana"

NO.

BIG NO NO.

Please respect MY personal life outside the hobby as I would yours.

Needless to say, I responded with "Uhm, you must have had one too many, cause you got the wrong girl" and walked away BUT I really wanted the floor to just open up and consume me

I have a VERY active SOCIAL life guys...It was bound to happen that one day I'd run into a client. BUT please, PLEASE, respect my boundries and my "bubble," I don't like having to "explain" things like this either...

Thanks and have a wonderful day...

XoXo,

~Arriana~

Sorry this happened. Was it an ECCIE guy? Cuz if not, he won't get this message. If he is, he should know better. But hopefully you let him know his faux pas via some channel.

You handled the situation well.

Damn sorry to hear about that sweetie, but yeah that was a big No No. Two separate lives (Hobby and real) colliding like that in public can be quite embarrassing to try to explain.

A couple of years ago, I was out having lunch with a friend and her daughter and a Provider saw me walk in and came up to me and started chatting and offered me her new number. Sometimes it's difficult to think on the fly so the subject was dropped...

Recently, I happened to go over to a friends house for a small get together and I was one of the early ones there. Briefly saw a girl there and then she disappeared, turns out she is a Provider and wanted to leave cause she knows about my Hobby secret and was worried that I might out her with her friends. Got a chance to let her know that I would never out her cause it's nobodies business but her own what she does and what I do in Private.

I let her know that out in Public, you don't know anyone in the Hobby, they are complete strangers and you should not acknowledge that you even might know them, why cause anyone harm in their public life, I know I wouldn't want it done to me.
Ugh, that's yucky, I once had a guy walk up to me at Walmart(my rugrats in tow) and proceed to hug me & chat me up... I was freaking MORTIFIED! Always a NO NO.... Man oh man girlie I feel your pain, hope he rethinks his actions, apologizes, and it never happens again.

Stupid idiot. Well, guess HE won't have the pleasure of BCD with you again....
Yea. Eccie guy. I was SO upset. My friends were NOT on the tipsy side YET so I got "questions" and one of them was..."Eww, ____. Why did that creeper call you ADRIANA?" and another, "Who was that?"

"Oh you know, just a guy that I see on the side for fun times and whatnot, my sugardaddy! Well, one of them " <-----THAT WOULD NEVER COME OUT OF MY MOUTH.

I wanted to punch him in the face and pour the beer he was holding up his nose.

Terrible. You're right FL, he SHOULD know better. BUT apparently he either doesn't care, or he's not down with some R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

W/e the case, I deserve an apology and NO, I will NOT see this "Gent" BCD again. If you can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality, you don't deserve to be on this board. The end. <3

I've been in that situation several times over my hobby years.... never, never do I let on nor has any provider that I have seen in civie land. As too I have no wish on being outed and do not want my hobby life to connect in that manner. If there is an agreement before hand and you have some type of relationship or rapport with a provider/hobbyiest so be it. Otherwise silence is golden. Wise up dude.

The guy doesn't have a clue - know that MOST the gents on here wouldn't put you in that kind of situation. What's that Forrest Gump comment "Stupid is as Stupid Does"....
It's happend a few times with me...during these times if we lock eyes I just give the look and carry on. Not a word said! Like it should be. Our world is a big dark secret nobody outside of it should ever know! Eccie code 101!

I would NEVER do that. I would act like I had never seen you before & look the other way like you were just another hot babe I was looking at. I am really sorry that happened to you.

Hey dumbass, quit being such a dumbass! No, fo'real, dude.

This discretion this is supposed to go both ways

How awesome would it be if one of these gals did that to you when you're out with the wife and kids?

Exactly pendejo!

Well, Arrianna, sorry you got 'tarded by this 'tard. Seriously.

...but on the bright-side at least he didn't start humping your leg.

That's what I do.
But I do it randomly, and to complete strangers, so it's all good.

heh!

I had an incredibly awkward experience where these guys at work sent me to go scout a lady that they thought was attractive, and that I said was too young. I went outside to get a closer look and I was correct, the girl was really young like probably not even 10. Than this little girl went and hugged her mother which turned out to be a provider I had seen!

I locked eyes with the provider, but I was mortified, at not only the fact that 90% Of my co workers were certified creeps, but at the fact that I saw a provider outside of playtime. I had no idea how to act, so I ran and hid in the back area for a few hours until I knew she was gone. I saw her again later and it could have been in my head, but I swear she glanced around for me. I was so sweaty and nervous!

It was one the most nerve wracking experiences, I've ever had, and I can't imagine it would be very fun for you providers. Sorry this happened to you.
