Is it just me or are there an unusually large number of Marines on here? Statistically speaking (yes, I'm an engineer), there should be a lot more USN types. Same for Army & USAF. Just curious

How do you know who the marines are? My handle gives me away but I can say that I have noticed only one other and then only because of his signature.

You would expect a lot of Marines on this board; the Navy may have invented sex, but the Marines showed them how have it with girls

I agree, too many marines! Retired Army over here.

Just kidding gentlemen. You do a pretty adequate job.

As for me, ex-Navy Nuc.

And just for georgeofjungle,

They say us Nucs all glow at night,
But the ladies like the light.
Do it with your dog-tags on,
Nucs can do it all night long...

A little boy at the bus station bumped into a tall, fit young man, almost cutting himself on the man's razor sharp creased trousers with the brilliant red stripe down the outside.

"golly Mister, what are you?"

"Son, I'm a United States Marine!" The man gently said, then he removed his spotless white hat and offered it to the boy - "would you like to wear my hat?"

In all seriousness folks, I owe my life to a Marine, and have the greatest respect. Hopefully a few who waved at me as I exported some steel into the jungle around them right where they had asked for it, feel the same way.

YES SIR! the boy proudly said, putting on the hat and started to march sharply thru the bus station.

Shortly he bumped into another young man who reeked of beer, cheap cologne, and cigar smoke... Staring up he saw an unshaven face, with bloodshot eyes and a uniform covered with stains of wine, cum and vomit he trembled and asked ..."what are you?"

The man belched and said "I'm a Navy Chief, kid, you want to suck my dick?"

"No sir, I'm not really a Marine, I'm just wearing his hat"

I am so f....ing old Rangers were organic to the TOE of Airborne Divisions, stayed in long enough to see the change back but by that time I was assigned to MACV/MACTHI.

Agree with much of what has been written. Although I never operated in a Marine A/0 I saw a lot of them as Embassy guards, let me tell you they are not lawn jockeys, seen several buy the farm. Not one shot in the back.

Navy Jet jocks and AF Zoomies no body lays down controlled ordinance better than you.

Here's a hat tip to those Costie Rescue Swimmers, pulled Jack worthless ass out twice...sometimes the egress goes to hell in a hand bag.
