Men’s talk

I’m obsessed with sipping tequilas. Hoarding Fortaleza. What’s in your liquor cabinet?

Also. Cigarbids.com. Freefall. BEST place to pick up great cigars for a fraction of the price. Bought some Oliva 2nds for under $2 a stick. AMAZING.

Best bar in town? I’m leaning Lynn’s Tavern off Central.
Cigarbids can be good for picking up cigars cheap

but it isn't as good as it used to be

there is a site called Cigar Page that has some pretty excellent deals

you just gotta get on their mailing list and wait it out a bit

they will send you 5-6 emails a day but easy enough to filter them out

but again some really good deals depending on what you like to smoke

Oliva is a good example

they sell them for stupid cheap sometimes

Oliva Melanio Maduro Figurados for under way better price than anywhere else

not seconds either
George !! Well George reserves !!
OP was good at one point
too bad that he is offline

could have had some good cigar talk it sounds like
Nah had issues
George you mother fucker! Got any good scotch recommendations?

My liquor cabinet is full to the point where I could have company over, and make just about anything they request that they might otherwise order at a full service bar. I like variety (kinda why I’m in the hobby lol). It took a while to build up, but I would purposely move on each week from one specialty drink to another, leaving plenty of the mixers and liqueurs required for the last drink of choice still mostly full. Liqueurs, mixers, liquor, even the little cans of juice so I always have pineapple juice, cranberry juice etc at all at the ready at my house. And not just the base liquors and I wing it…no. “Want tequila? Do you prefer reposada, blanco, gold, or even mezcal?” You get the point… I have Pretty much everything but possibly the garnish.
If I were to pick a favorite mixed drink, it would probably be the cable car if I was feeling fancy, or a gin and tonic if I wanted basic. Fave gin, Nolets and it isn’t even close
Cheers! (Literally)
Scotch-A simple Laphroaig and Lagavulin (10, 20,30) will restore your faith in masculinity without making you a Scotch snob. A weirdly enticing din of burning tires with a smooth, non alcohol finish. The same $62 pour at Prime Saratoga (obscene) can be found for $12-$15 at many places.. Oban, Macallan fine....but the aforementioned will make you consider a face tattoo and a scrotum piercing.

You’re welcome.

Although I do love a good cigar, unfortunately I’m not educated enough on the subject to make a proper decision. But if it’s similar to enjoying a nice red wine…a Cab, Merlot or Shiraz, it’s primarily about personal taste and your pallet.

I tried Scotch once and couldn’t get past the aroma and the aftertaste or as they say “the finish”. I’m assuming Scotch is the same as any Whiskey or Wine, it’s about personal taste and your pallet.

My fav mixed drink is a Crown Royal Manhattan (in a chilled rocks glass with one or two small ice cubes) with a splash of dry vermouth, a splash of cherry juice and one single cherry that I allow to soak until I finish the drink, and enjoy the whiskey soaked cherry while I’m waiting for my refill lol.
Favorite cigar is a circa 1996 "Lewinsky". From the Clinton collection. IYKYK
Never a fan of scotch, but went to Scotland last year and was surprised how loose they are with how they drink it. rocks, neat, mixed with soda, however you want it. They say us Americans have it wrong with being scotch snobs.
