When placing ads or posting on your website, the FIRST thing a potential client notices is your photos! What does your photo say about you and your service? Low end? Upscale? Somewhere in between?
Cell phone/mirror pics, pics taken with a pocket camera all belong on FB and MS, not as an advertisment for your business. Yes they may be an accurate depiction of you physically but what else does it say?
I do know a lot of providers from all the different fields and I do scroll through ads. I see the photos, read the ads and look at the rates. Although I'm not a hobbyist, I can still browse the menu with an objective eye about where I think my money would best be spent if I were.
Imagine you were shopping for a car and you see two of the same model. One has been detailed out, the other looks like it was pulled out of the lake. Everything else being equal, which would you look into further?
Same thing on photos for your ads as well as your ads themselves. Potential clients see photos/ads that look like they were thrown together last minute for a girl who is out to make a quick buck are not really sure what to expect. Is she a professional or a girl who is just starting out? Will he get the service he is paying for or will it be a dissappointment? Although a photo wont tell you one way or the other, it will at least say this about you...
How much time and effort you are willing to go through to promote yourself. Standing clothed/nude in front of your mirror with your cell phone... doesnt require much. A client can usually expect the same type of service. Hiring a makeup artist, purchasing outfits and a professional photographer requires thought and planning and shows everyone you are serious about your business. A potential client can usually expect the same. They know you invested your dollars and will do what you can to ensure a positive review.
No investment= nothing to lose
Proper investment= more $
Now there are many fine photographers out there who are provider friendly. Some of us do charge a fair price for our servce (like many of you do), some will exhange service for service (in which case you wonder who gets the better deal). Some hand you over unedited photos, some do basic touch ups, some will over edit them to the point of "is this really her?". Only you can decide which you think will work best for you and your business. But in any case...
You are running a business. Males are visually stimulated. Look at your ads/photos and look at those of others. If you were a hobbyist, which would you look more into? Who do you think gets more serious callers?
Now that I have you thinking about it...
Feel free to look over my work. See if you think these types of photos would help you in your business or if your current cell pic is doing you fine.
For all providers I do offer the following:
$200
about 2 hours YMMV
about 20 edited photos- I will remove temporary issues such as scratches/bruises. If you wish, I can also remove identifying marks/tats, stretch marks/scars, blur or crop your face. I do suggest that you do list in your ads that these have been removed of the reason of anonminity.
I will shoot from clothed to nude from casual to erotic (your comfort zone) and they will be classy, not trashy.
You will be emailed your proofs to review (not to be posted on the net) or
You can let me pick out the best ones for you ads and you could end up with more.
Proofs and edited images will be placed on CD as well as emailed. Full size and web resolution
Your photos are not used by me on my website unless you give me permission.
All photos are watermarked. If you would like copies that are not, then you can pay a fee of $100.00 to keep it off or you can place my banner on your website. I feel either is fair.
If you want exclusive rights to all of the photos (photos are a photographer's creative property and he/she owns the copyright) you may purchace that as well. Amount is TBD.
Any questions? Just ask!
Take Care
