So I've been working nights for the past few months. Was gonna try to get out the other night for a drink and hang out, but couldn't make it. Sucks being responsible sometimes. Anyways, kinda want to try someplace new here in Jackson. Used to hang at sportsmans, bulldog is always crowded. I would go to Scrooges sometimes but always felt out of place because I'm under 50. Do y'all have any recommendations for a quiet hole in the wall type bar?
You should try Fenian's in downtown Jackson. Martin's is also a good spot. Mint and Julep are more upscale but nice. Hal & Mals may fit the bill as well as George Street.
